Really nice open restaurant. You have to order your own food but they bring it to the table. The romaine and kale Caesar salad was delicious but way too much salad dressing on it. The avocado toast was very delicious with lots of avocado spread. The brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly with a great chili honey sauce. And also pictured here are the kiddies plates of grilled cheese and hamburger. Plenty of inside seating and also ample outside seating but it was too hot to sit outside. Beautiful view overlooking the water. They had a soft shell crab special that looked fantastic!

A beautiful, tranquil space with a stunning view. Food was a bit of a wait for one of the meals but when prompted the chef came out himself to deliver the food and apologise. He even offered a complimentary drink. Delicious food and 2 very happy customers would definitely recommend.

Food’s fine, service needs training. Ordered an espresso over ice and a pastry. Counter person did not know how to ring up an espresso, and never gave me the pastry at all. After sitting for 5 minutes with no sign of it, and exactly one other diner in the establishment (who was already served), I went up and asked another staff member to pull the pastry out of the case and hand it to me There were no less than 8 staff members working behind the counter at the time.

This little cafe that is attached to the LA Children’s Museum is a great spot for a quick bite or snack or a full lunch. They have a good menu of sandwiches and salads. Their pastry counter is my favorite though, can’t leave without a homemade pop tart or a delicious cinnamon roll

A beautiful place to eat lunch. Acorn is on the same campus as the children’s museum. The food is reasonably priced for a restaurant at a museum. Indoor and outdoor seating. We had a chicken sandwich and a chicken salad. Both were tasty. The sandwich came with freshly fried potato chips.

Nice place to eat and relax. We had the veggie pesto wrap with added chicken which and a cobb salad – both delicious and perfect for a light lunch. Iced latte tasy as well. Lovely place to sit outside on the terrace and watch the terrapins in the water.

The kind of food I dream of days after I’ve had it. Thank you for being vegan friendly. We got there at 9 (museum didn’t open until 9:30) and the sweet lady still accepted us! Cannot say enough amazing things!!

They have some vegan options (mostly geared toward adults). Also had popsicles – with a few flavors that were dairy free and dye free! My kids loved the treats! (They are well labeled so if you need to check the label for ingredients just ask!)
