The experience was amazing! from the welcoming vibe we got from both Unga & Priscilla to the delicious kava itself. The flavored shots were OH MY GOSH tasty! between my friend and i we had 7 each lol they were THAT good!

Been here about 5 times. I’m from California and every time I come into town, Kai Po is a MUST! Love the owners, their family atmosphere, and the vibes all around are at an all time high!! Everyone is so welcoming and treat you as one of their own. Even all of the “regulars” that frequent at Kai Po are such fun people.
10/10 recommend stopping by Kai Po for the flavored Kava Shots and some food! Can’t go wrong when all the ingredients taste so fresh. My siblings, cousins and I always have a blast when we visit. Love, love, love this place!

10/10 recommend for anyone looking to have great authentic kava. My boyfriend and I stopped by on road trip across the country, and met amazing people on karaoke night. I hadn’t eating all day, and we shared a plate of ribs, rice, and pasta salad. The food tasted homemade and it definitely hit the stop. We felt like family. ❤️

The owner Unga welcomed us in with open arms and shared an intimate history of Kava and his ancestral connection to the drink. He served us, drank a shell with us, and made us feel instantly at home as if we were just hanging with our Unc. We were planning a birthday party and he instantly opened up the idea of hosting it as his shop, and personally organizing the event around our interests. He even said he can setup karaoke for us!

I’ve been drinking Kava for 3 years going on 4 and they present a great experience. It was a slow night when I took my friend their but the owners had us sit with them and talk late into the night. This was a pleasant and personal experience we had at this kava lounge. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in trying Polynesian Kava.
