Uncharactereristicly, sloooow service at an unbusy time of day (5:15 on a Tuesday). After a quick and easy parking, the short line was very slow. Only one person on the service line and he had to make repeated trips to some back room to get rice and other items. The person providing the service was nice but probably a new employee. There were at least 3 other employees but they were doing other tasks. It seems like one good operational change would be cross training and having anyone doing non-customer work head to the front line when they’re people waiting.
I’ll probably return to this store because it’s convenient, but there is another store close by.
The food was delicious and fresh.
The experience was sub-opimal. The music was a bit loud given a nearly empty store.

A Mills
This new business is located near a wake tech branch. Honestly that’s a good location for it and the clients are pouring in. The food is prepared quickly and well. So students add this to your list of places to go. As for me, I like the food but the atmosphere is just a little too loud and crowded. The seating does not lend to a quiet place to relax and enjoy a meal with a friend.

Yesterday I ordered a bowl at this Chipotle. Overall, it’s a very clean and fresh location, the staff was super polite, and the restrooms were clean and well maintained. They’re locked with a code, which I actually liked, so overall I was pretty happy with the experience.

I came to try this new location today and it was great. The facility was clean, the crew was kind, attentive and helpful, and the food was yummy. I got the steak bowl, and my kids got the “build your own” bowl. They were pretty generous with their scoops.

I’ve been eating at Chipotle for over a decade and some stores in the Triangle area (and on a larger scale) have definitely dipped in quality over the past few years, but the food at this location was really good. I was also happy to see that the inside of the store was very clean and well-kept. It looked well-staffed at around 7:30PM on a weekday. Keep up the good work at this location! This will be my new go-to Chipotle.

Man this place has gone downhill in the past month. I come here 1-2x/week, and lately they seem understaffed, are constantly out of available meats and other ingredients (which leads to them being stingy with portions) and wait times are super high. This place used to be solid, but I’ve started going to the Chipotle on Walnut where the portions seem like double compared to what they’re currently serving here.
As I write this I am sitting at a table watching one person make orders and pile them next to an unstaffed cash register. This has gone on for twenty minutes. People whose orders were made ten minutes ago are still standing around waiting to be checked out. Ridiculous. Hiring additional staff and a competent manager seems like the base line for what this location needs.

Have literally never had Chipotle before this and wanted to see what all the hype is about. From what I know, this is a newer location so I was hopeful. And it was a good experience! Can’t say I was like…blown away by everything?? but it was good overall. Workers were friendly and most were busily stocking/cooking keeping things turned over (which I know can be a struggle sometimes). My tiny complaint is that at the time when I was there, it seemed like only one person was able to help on the line serving customers out of around 4-5 people; there were several people I assume picking up orders online/delivery just crowded around that side of the restaurant. I know it’s not “fast food” but I can see some people potentially complaining if they aren’t served immediately – but I’m happy to wait if that means that the food can be made fresh (which I could see cooking in the back). So – for anyone who isn’t familiar with the place like I was – just be aware that you probably won’t be in and out in five minutes, especially at a peak time, but you’ll get a good meal regardless.
Regarding the food – again wasn’t like blown away because it wasn’t anything super novel BUT it was tasty and the guac was extremely fresh and was a nice addition. I know one thing Chipotle can be known for is portions on either end of an extreme and thankfully this location is on the end of “very generous” – I was hardly able to eat about a third of my bowl and was able to save the rest for lunch the next day. (Of course I did get pretty much every topping!) Chicken was good and for me and my husband got the carne asada which was very tender. Rice was cooked well and all the veggies/other ingredients were spot on.
Kudos to the team working though – there was an error in applying my coupon for guac and the computer somehow overcharged me but they were able to quickly fix it and refund me so we could get the right amount charged. Very helpful to have food workers who know the system well for when snafus like that occur.
I’m not always on this side of Cary/Apex, but if I am I’ll put this Chipotle on my list of places to consider for dinner when I’m craving a good burrito bowl.

Chipotle: Friendly Staff Can’t Fix the Food
My visit to Chipotle was unfortunately a rough experience. The food didn’t sit well at all and actually made me throw up, which was disappointing and concerning. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and courteous, trying their best to create a welcoming environment despite the issues with the meal.
While I appreciated the service, the quality of the food makes it hard to recommend this location. It’s a reminder that even good customer service can’t fully make up for a bad dining experience.

I just went to get my chipotle. I have add this problem in the past where I ask for salsa or for a large cup of salsa and instead I get one small cup of salsa for 2 large chips. I had to repeat myself several times. I said nothing about drink and finally after I had run out of patients I just took the two large fountain drink cups and left with only one small size cup of salsa. I should not have to repeat myself 3 or 4 times and staff still get it wrong! I am very unhappy! Train your staff better!

I’m a regular Chipotle customer and travel all across North Carolina, so I’ve been to just about every Chipotle in the state. Hands down, this one is the best I’ve ever visited. The food was incredibly fresh, everything looks very clean, the team was super polite, and their customer service was top-notch. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I 1000% recommend this Chipotle as the best in the Triangle area!
