This waterfront sea-to-table restaurant pays homage to the original Four Flamingos in Orlando, Florida, offering a modern dining experience combining the memory of vintage era with the bounty of the southernmost island in the United States. A nod to its dockside location on the surrounding coastal waters, sustainability is a focus of the restaurant with fresh, seasonal ingredients procured through partnerships with local purveyors and fishermen.

Chef Leo joined us briefly, as he often does when he can be spared from the kitchen; he seems to really enjoy spending a few minutes with his guests and eliciting feedback. One of the things I like best about this menu is its commitment to whether its seafood is sustainable – who would like to eat the last rare fish – think octopus – captured off our shores?
I asked how much longer until my favorite – the tomatillo gazpacho that was such a hit at the Taste of Key West last year – was returned to the spring/summer menu! I think Chef Leo has had a big impact on the dishes he offers that are fan-favorites and also good for our fragile ecosystem.
The restaurant is airy and light-filled; sitting outside is even better on a beautiful evening. Either seating is great, and the quiet atmosphere makes conversation easy.
We started with the calamari, which was perfectly crisp and flavorful—a great way to kick off our meal. For our mains, we tried the Lobster Roll, Cuban Sandwich, and Cheeseburger, and every dish was absolutely delicious. Each plate was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.
To top it all off, we celebrated my husband’s birthday with a slice of their Key Lime Pie, and it did not disappoint—refreshing, tart, and the perfect sweet ending.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, beautiful views, and a laid-back yet elegant vibe in Key West!
Unfortunately, the food itself was extremely disappointing.
Given that this is presented as a high-end restaurant bearing the name of a renowned chef, we expected a much higher standard. The dishes we were served did not reflect that level of quality or execution.
The weakest dishes were the hearts of palm salad and the ceviche. When ordering a hearts of palm salad, I expected more than a Caesar-style salad overloaded with grated cheese and only a few slices of hearts of palm. The ceviche was particularly disappointing — it consisted primarily of coconut milk and an overwhelming amount of red onion, with only four very small nibble sized pieces of fish. Quite shameful.
The only saving grace of the meal was the lamb. While it was not truly herb-crusted and was served on what resembled a purée with a baby-food-like consistency, it was cooked properly, tender, and flavorful.
Overall, we left very disappointed, especially given the reputation and price point of the restaurant.
The dishes were underwhelming and lacked flavor, especially for a restaurant that positions itself as upscale dining. Nothing we ordered stood out, and several items were simply disappointing.
One member of our group has a seafood allergy, so they ordered the filet mignon. Sadly, it was no better than a steak you’d get at a chain restaurant like Texas Roadhouse or Outback Steakhouse — definitely not what you expect from a high-end restaurant in Key West.
To make matters worse, the bill came to $476 before tip, which really felt like the final nail in the coffin after such a disappointing meal.
Key West has so many incredible restaurants, and unfortunately this just wasn’t one of them. For the price, quality, and overall experience, I would not recommend it. Very disappointing, Chef Blaise.
But!! It’s mostly about the food which was well below average. The ceviche was the worst we have ever had. There were 3 bites of crab with a massive amount of onion in a white sauce (which tasted like it had coconut milk as opposed to a really good Leche de tigre). The hearts of palm salad was just a Ceasars salad with slices of hearts of palm. The only good part of the meal was the lamb.
Very disappointed.
Unfortunately, my family of five should have been ware of the empty tables this mid July.
The steaks were over charred (aka black) and over charged (85$ each).
My seafood risotto was literally rice with a charred lobster tail.
My son and daughter made it out safe via the chicken tenders and butter noodles.
Let’s not forget the 20$ cocktails and what was an attempt at a “Bahama Mama”.
Nice location.
Service was not great. Canned soda. Canned beer. Pour your own.
No one on the floor, everyone in the back. I guess gl hf?
Even with everything adjusted to fix the gross Negligence, a family of five should expect to pay 253$. Not a big deal if the food and service matched.
I don’t review or even complain often, but this was awful.
What a shame.
