Ordered from here a couple of times now as other local Chineses are a bit of a let down, every time from we order from here the food is amazing, roast pork in plum sauce was lovely and sweet, beef in black bean was so tender! Salt and chilli chips were full of flavour, the honey ribs were a little over done for me but that’s just personal preference. Overall, can’t fault it.

Used to be the best Chinese around, but recently it feels like they’ve changed their recipes. Crispy mustard chicken isn’t crispy and is missing the sauce it used to have. It also feels like it’s got a lot more expensive in the last year or so. There was egg in the chow mien too which was weird. The crispy duck was very tasty though.

Just a heads-up for anyone ordering from Phoenix, Amesbury online
I placed an order through their website, logged in with my email and password, and the money left my bank. After waiting over an hour with no food, I rang several times and my calls were ignored. When my wife rang from a different number, they answered straight away.
We were then told the order “wasn’t valid” because we didn’t receive a confirmation email from another system they use.
That’s not really acceptable. If your website allows logins and takes payment, customers should be able to rely on that being a valid order. Being ignored on the phone and then told “you’ll get a refund” after waiting around for food isn’t great service.
Not trying to cause drama — just warning others so they don’t get caught out. Might be safer to phone orders through until they sort their system out

Sent salt and pepper chicken rather than mustard chilli chicken.When I called to tell them he hung up so I called back to be told this was the correct dish. Tou can see the salt all.over it ….gave them a second chance won’t get a third , food was shocking this evening!

The staff are very friendly and welcoming , The food was delicious couldn’t recommend enough! The salt and chilli chicken was crispy and spicy and the chicken chow mein i customized with no issues. Honestly no fault with this place! Will be ordering again

Normally excellent take away but I was very disappointed with the chicken and mushroom curry I had looks like they’ve started using frozen diced chicken I found it quite hard and the food went cold very quickly almost as if it had been microwaved. Ditch the frozen cubes of chicken please your better than this I’ve used them for over twenty years that was bad and my partner had red pepper in her beef and green pepper in black bean sauce
