I was here with a small group. We shared some starters and each got drinks and entrees. My Zencha was good but not amazing. I didn’t feel the sencha flavor really came through. The fried pickles was a generous serving. Flavor was good. The Birria egg roll was ok; meat tasted a bit dry. The shrimp on eggs was a little strange. The grilled shrimps were good. Just didn’t feel that they went with the eggs. I got the roasted veggies bowl with mahi mahi added. The entree was disappointing. The veggies were the best part. The fish was overcooked and under seasoned. Rice was bland too. The service was friendly, attentive and competent. Fellow diners got salads and pizza. The pizza looked to be the best.

I recently hosted my engagement celebration at Brick & Brew in Malvern, and I could not have asked for a better experience. From 5–8 PM, everything was absolutely seamless. The atmosphere was warm, the food and drinks were a hit with every guest, and the service was exceptional.
A special thank you to Antonio, who was incredibly supportive from start to finish. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made the entire planning process stress-free. He checked in consistently, anticipated needs before we even voiced them, and helped make the evening feel truly special.
Because of this experience, I can proudly say I’m now a lifetime supporter of this establishment. If you are considering hosting an event—or even just grabbing a great meal—look no further. Brick & Brew Malvern has earned my highest recommendation!

Brick and Brew is a beautiful restaurant. They really put effort in to make it unique. The drinks and food were really good as well. Only complaint is the potatoes came out cold and kinda burned.

Such a cool place! Bunch menu had some very unique and delicious food. Chicken and Waffle Benedict and the Apple Pie French toast were to die for. Breakfast Old Fashioned and mimosas hit the spot too. Very very cool decor in a cool old building great ambiance and great service. We will be back to try the wood fired pizza which undoubtedly will be awesome too. A++

This is a place where a girlfriend and I like to grab lunch when we get together. The ambiance inside is fun with the visible pizza oven, the wall of greenery and moss, and the beer barrels that are on a track (I can’t find my pics of the inside of the restaurant, which I have definitely taken!). I had the turkey chili and a small side salad today with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Delicious!! I also enjoy their margherita pizza, their arugula and fig pizza, and their burger with fries. All their food is delicious bar food!
I went today with my hub, and got the pics that I couldn’t find last time. He had BBQ brisket, and I had this amazing vegetarian salad with beans, avocado, and cheese. So yummy!!

We typically go there to get drinks. It definitely offers ample space for a large group.Overall, the service is generally very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is decent, not overly special, but perfectly acceptable. The cheese steak was good, but I would not recommend the Pickles Fries. The pizza is decent, but it’s not a primary reason to visit.

Brick and Brew. There’s a reason there is no mention of food in the name. They are selling alcohol.
Ordered the Chicken Tinga Tacos $17. “Tinga” must mean dogfood in Mexican. Actually minature dogfood. 3 of the smallest tacos that I have ever seen. And they look and taste like dogfood!
My friend ordered the Roasted Vegetable Bowl with Mahi Mahi. $24!!! Also garbage.
My dog would reject the tacos however as her fresh dog food looks better than the tacos.
$102.xx wasted.
Only fools dine here.
For great tacos at 1/2 the price El Primo in Norristown rocks. Far superior to this place.
$60 at Mocha buys a huge quality meal, just BYOB. This place was a huge disappointment.

When visiting this area for hockey tournaments, we always make a trip to Brick and Brew. Everything here is always wonderful. The Marilyn Monroe is my favorite cocktail there. It’s a spicy tequila drink. I also tried a Heavens to Betsy which was a refreshing gin drink. My friend and I shared the cheesesteak for dinner was absolutely delicious!! The bread tasted homemade and the steak was shaved ribeye. Everyone at the table enjoyed their drinks and food.
The restaurant is beautiful and has a nice outdoor dining area. This was the first time I have ever eaten outside there. As much as I typically enjoy dining al fresco, I did feel as though it lost a lot the great ambiance out there and wish we’d have asked to move inside. There is no music outside and you just hear everyone’s conversations around you. Inside has great decor, trendy lighting, and music….so I’ll just be sure to dine inside from now on……but, I will definitely be back at some point!
One thing, though…,they refused separate checks and will only do even splits. This is always such a pain when you go with groups to places that do that. It’s awkward and forced some to pay more than their share or for diners to have to sit at the table doing math….neither something anyone wants to deal with when going out for a nice meal. With Toast Tab and the handheld check gadgets widely used, there really is no reason to put patrons in that position by refusing separate checks.

I went here on Valentine’s Day with my wife. The food was reasonably priced a very good. The great and decor was unique and very cool. We made reservations but arrived early which we understood might be an inconvenience. We did see open tables so we asked if we could possibly get in early but we did make it clear that we were willing wait for our time slot aswell. The hostess at the front check that we had reservations and then found us a table to seat us, which we were grateful for. The only issue came when the waiter came to the table and seemed annoyed to see me sitting at the table as my wife went to the bathroom to wash our hands before we ate. He asked me who sat me at the table which at first I perceived the irritation at one of the hostesses. Which I said I didn’t know which one. Mainly because I talked to both of them at the same time when I came in and also because I wasn’t trying to get one of them in trouble because they got us seated early. I attempted to place my order and he cut me off with “ did someone really seat you or did you just come in and sit yourself down?” He had an accusatory tone in his voice that instantly put me on the defensive. I preceded to tell him that I made previous reservations and was seated by one of the hostesses. He then went and talked to the hostesses and came back and took my order and was pleasant afterword. I credited it to maybe being overwhelmed (which is not a legitimate excuse) but I was willing the shrug it but once we finished eating and got up to leave I realized most of the tables were empty and was really confused about why seating was an issue in the first place. As a business owner myself myself, believe customers should always having a welcoming experience especially in the service industry. Without the unpinning tone to start the night this would have easily been a five star review but I can’t ignore the initial candor of my waiter. He seemed like a decent person but he maybe needs a little guidance on how to deal with certain situations.
