The Old School is a place like no other. It began life as an actual school in 1871 & was converted into a restaurant in the 1950’s. A large bar area was added in the 1980’s but was never actually opened until 2022! It is now open & is proud to provide the area a destination to enjoy with friends & family. There is plenty of outside seating & parking, as well as a banquet room that is available to rent for private parties. It’s hard to imagine that in the crazy busy, fast paced world we live in that a place like The Old School exists! When experiencing The Old School, it’s like stepping back in time 35+ years, life there is a lot less stressful and a lot less complicated. Be sure to check out The Old School… Where Old’s Cool!!

Step into this historic schoolhouse and play some hooky.
We really liked the atmosphere of this place. Friendly bartender and cook. We even chatted with a friendly couple at the bar. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again.
