Definitely better than Panda for sure. Place is cozy but welcoming. Everybody was so nice and greeted every person that walked through the door.
Both my husband and I got Hot Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef, and Lemon Chicken. He had it with fried rice and lo mein while I chose white rice and mixed veggies. All of it was amazing but failed to take a photo before I chowed down.
Definitely worth stopping in and supporting them.

I had their Spicy Orange Chicken and their fried rice and enjoyed the flavors.. but be warned, the spicy is SPICY! Very generous portions for the food, very polite and efficient staff, and very reasonable price for the flavor and portion! I will definitely come back to them again when I’m in Tempe! Excellent first impression!

It’s definitely better than panda express. The prices are extremely reasonable. Their salt and pepper wings are excellent. I like the fact they have spicy orange chicken, which is on a little sweet side, but it pairs very well with their fried rice. Overall value for amount of food and taste all work together properly to fit my ratings.

We’ve picked up takeout from The Orange Chicken Spot three times now, and we’ve been really happy every single time. The food is fresh and packed with flavor. Their orange chicken is hands-down some of the best I’ve had and my wife raves about the broccoli beef just as much. You get generous portions for the price, and they have a solid rewards program that actually adds up. The staff is friendly and helpful too. This is a much better choice than Panda Express—I highly recommend giving it a try!

Had high expectations on this place due to social media. Service was ok, it was rather warm in there. The spicy orange chicken tasted like frozen costco orange chicken, the Beijing chicken was far better than the orange chicken. The noodles were not flavorful, and the rice needed some seasoning. The portions were large. My family and I will not be returning.

I went there for the first time today. The food was awesome. Yes, it is better than Panda Express. The portions were bigger, and the price was better. I will be back soon. Thank You

The orange chicken spot is amazing, staff and owner are super friendly! I came in for their pre opening to try their menu and let me tell you I was not disappointed. Their orange chicken was not too sweet and had the right consistency to it; which is just what I like as I don’t have a big sweet tooth. The Beijing beef was really good as well, not overly chewy and had a good spice to it as well which paired perfectly with their chow mein. Overall I enjoyed every thing I had from this menu so far and can’t wait to see what else they come up with!! 10/10 recommend this place if you’re looking for good quality at an affordable price! Their hours work perfectly too for most people as they are open Monday-Sunday (10am-9pm)

I came in about 30 min after they opened. I was the only customer and the food did not look appealing at all! The orange chicken didn’t not look. So I tried the hot orange chicken and the lemon chicken. Nothing was hot about the orange chicken. And the lemon chicken was literally hard and rubbery! I try different Chinese spots all the time but was a miss. Also, nobody greeted me when I walked in. Didn’t say how can I help you. They just looked at me! I will not be returning!

I ordered it on door dash. The portion size was really good, but despite my wanting to I don’t really like the food.
I got a three item plate, and additionally a large side of noodles. I knew at the time that I should have gotten fried rice with the plate to try it, but I wanted to match my panda order so I got all noodles. The noodles(it wasn’t chow mein, it was pasta) were very disappointing. They had a slightly sweet flavor, and some vegetables. I wanted more flavor and more veg but they aren’t disgusting.
I also got mushroom chicken, orange chicken, and broccoli beef. The mushroom chicken had good ratios, but no sauce. I saw and tasted no sauce. The orange chicken was the best thing I tasted. I think if I got again I’ll get the spicy orange chicken, but it was a good portion size and it tasted good. The broccoli beef was well sauced, but really didn’t have enough beef or flavor. It was more the flavor that disappointed me though, it had almost enough beef.
I don’t know, it’s hard for me to even post a less than 100% positive review. I think I’ll try this place again in person. It’s just hard to get over the food itself not being great.
