Outstanding spot – located in the historic (and charming) Boulder Dam Hotel, we stopped by after our flight into Vegas and on our way to seeing the Hoover Dam. Breakfast and brunch options aplenty. We started with a French press Hawaiian coffee. The entire menu looked so delicious I could hardly decide on my entree. I went with the Big Island Rice Bowl (pictured) with optional “Gravy All Ova” on suggestion from Kenna, our server – great call. My wife got the Pani Popo. Both dishes were DELICIOUS. Service was kind and attentive. We got to chat with the co-owner and hear his story – great guy, and I’m rooting for this place’s continued success!
Verdict – check this place out if you’re in the area!! Big recommend! Great hospitality and you won’t go home hungry!

Update!! Decided to give it another shot and the lunch was incredible!!! I wanted to make sure I update it as it could have just been a transition phase last time I was there but the Hawaiian Menu was incredible and wroth a try for those of you who haven’t tried it yet. The service was incredible. I got the Musubi and my husband got the Tiki Burger. We will be coming again for sure 🙂
Ever since ownership changed – the food quality for breakfast and lunch went downhill. The dinner service and food is incredible but the new lunch menu and breakfast menu is really telling on how they tried reducing quality and cost for perhaps a more high end dinner I understand it – however, they need to bring the food quality back. The service was wonderful as always but you could tell they are not happy with everything and it just isn’t the same warm and comforting spot with home cooked delicious meals anymore.

Totally worth a trip. The portions were outrageous and you’ll def need a to-go box or share but so delicious! Wait staff is super friendly and really helpful about what to do and see in the area. Also they serve these really good biscuits are bomb. Five stars ⭐️

Kadence and Gina took excellent care of my husband and me at dinner during our stay in Boulder City. The food was delicious and reasonably priced (especially after being in Vegas!) We shared the tomato bisque and filet with loaded potato and broccolini. Had a quick breakfast the next morning too.

Had the pleasure of being invited to the friends and family roll out of the new dinner menu. The food was absolutely amazing. Got to try a variety of dishes. Everything was on point. Big flavors. Faith was our server and she and her server assistant were awesome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious dinner or a place for that special occasion. We will be back.

We dined here while staying at the Hotel. We were there on a night that the Restaurant was operating as a steak house. It was excellent. Portion sizes were good, and prices average for this type of restaurant.

The food was amazing. I never had Sweet Hawaiian Rolls used for French Toast and I loved it. The Guava Strawberry Chiffon was chilled, light, and took the Toast from 10 out of 10 to 12 out of 10.

So cute inside! Delicious Hawaiian comfort food and other great choices. Very reasonably priced too! Our waitress was so sweet and the owner teaches you a Hawaiian word of the day.

When 1933 first opened a few years ago, we really liked it and went there often. Then we took some out of town visitors out for dinner and had one of the worst experiences ever and as a resulte, stopped going there. We recently noticed the name change (“Hawaiian”), figured something had changed and decided to give it another try. We are very glad we did. What a pleasant surprise. The new owners, Rex and his wife have really turned things around! Food and service were good and the owner’s nephew entertained us with his absolutely incredible singing voice! Boulder City needs a nice restaurant where you can get a great meal in a good atmosphere and have a pleasant evening. 1933 Hawaiian offers this and much more. Please support them.
