Overall we enjoyed our dinner & will be back. The server was great! The flat fries were great & so were the onion rings! I do feel some of the food was overpriced & was not a fan of the fries not coming with our meal. The Kids portions were massive!

WOW!!! What an incredible experience! We made reservations for Valentine’s Day/ our anniversary, and never been here. We can’t say enough good things about the food. Dessert was amazing too. Service was 12/10 Our waitress Beth was remarkable. She loves her job and it shows. She was “Johnny on the spot” with our drinks. We’ve never had such attentiveness at a restaurant. She made our night very special and memorable. We will definitely be back soon! Check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

A little disappointed in the “full rack” of ribs. Maybe a full rack from a teacup pig. They were decent. The fried pickles were good. Flat fries were alright as well. Our server and hostess were great – very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was nice. We’ll give ‘er another try in the future.

First timers at 1890.
Showed up a little after 7 and was told it would be a 5 min wait. So we sat at the bar and grabbed a cocktail. The bar had a warm, “I could be a regular here” kind of vibe. Closer to 15 min later we got sat, noticing multiple tables were open and only one couple had walked out since we had been there. No big deal, just an observation that it didn’t seem too crazy busy for such a long wait.
Right away the staff informed us of multiple things they were out of. My husband thought it was embarrassing to be out of so many menu items on a Saturday, but honestly, we wouldn’t have ordered those few things anyway.
Ordered cheese curds (not the best, not the worst) a club & Italian wrap. Was then informed they had none of the meats to make the Italian wrap. Initially I was going to order the muffuletta sandwich but knew it was pretty much the same so Alfredo with shrimp it is.
My husband really enjoyed his club, saying it was on the better end compared to most places. The flat fries were really good too! And my Alfredo was ok, but as you expect, just an Alfredo.
Staff was very nice!
We will definitely return & hope to try more of the menu items (if they have them)!

Really solid food here! Came for lunch and had some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. Reuben was top notch with really good quality corned beef, perfectly melted Swiss and just the right amount of kraut. Perfectly grilled – no soggy bread here! Our Cuban sandwich and Monte Cristo were all made with the same attention to quality ingredients and perfectly executed. The highlight was the Irishman burger. It was AMAZING. Best burger I have ever eaten. Highly recommend you give this burger a try. Service was excellent. Highly encourage people to give this restaurant a visit. We’ll be coming back for sure.

Sarah was a fantastic server. She was very attentive and was nice to talk with. The food portions are phenomenal. The New York Strip Gorgonzola Linguini lasted for 4 meals for my Mom. My Kentucky Hot Brown lasted for 3 meals between my husband and I. The flat fries and Zucchini chips were so tasty. Can’t wait to go back. There are so many options to choose from. The choices are so different from other restaurants. This is like getting a gourmet meal at a local pub.

I want to start by saying that the food was FANTASTIC. 11/10 for both items I ordered and same for those my friend ordered. I started with the fried pickles and she started with the blueberry goat cheese bruschetta, both were super good. For my entree I got the Kentucky Hot Brown Sandwich and the sauce on it is to die for. We even saw the chef come out and seat a table while the waitresses were busy which is awesome.
The drinks on the other hand, they need some work on making them quicker (I got my appetizer BEFORE I got my simple lemonade mocktail (blushing belle)) and it wasn’t what I ordered and tasted like plain lemon water (I ordered it with strawberry and there was none). Keep in mind we were there at 12 pm and there was barely anyone at the bar and only us and one other table.
Our service was the only reason I gave them 4 stars. Our waitress was great, she might have been a little new to waitressing but she was lovely. The bar is where our service lacked. We walked in and the bartender was near the host stand, we didn’t get a hello and he asked how he could help us. He then grabbed two menus and just started walking away, no “you can follow me”. When we got into the restaurant areas, he shoved the menus into our waitress’ hands and walked away without another word. This plays in to how our drinks were not up to par.
Definitely try 1890 bistro, and hopefully your drink experience is better than ours. The food is more than enough of a reason to try!!

Went on Valentines Day 2026. Drinks were very good, food was fantastic. I had special – it was a seafood linguine – wife had pimento mac and cheese. Mine was great, hers was awesome, mac and cheese was rich and flavorful. Red Velvet cake for dessert, that was delicious as well. Extremely satisfied with our visit.

The food was better than we expected for pub food with an elevated menu that included interesting choices that aren’t typical such as the Irish bowl and hardy seafood dishes. The atmosphere was ok. A crowded, somewhat cramped bar area with lots of slot games and a separate, no frills, casual dining room. Our party of 6 had a reservation at 7:30pm but did not get seated until 8pm so dinner was a little rushed feeling because they very promptly closed at 9:30pm. The wait time was made right with great service and complimentary drink tickets. Our waitress was experienced, bubbly, fun and friendly. We will go back because of that!
