Stopped in a few months ago while visiting a local bed and breakfast. It’s you’re average dive bar with good drinks at an affordable price. That alone wouldn’t warrant 5 stars from me. What made this place shine was the bartender. I believe her name was Casey. She was an absolute gem and so incredibly helpful. She immediately recognized us as new customers and shook our hand, a gesture I find incredibly lacking in younger generations. When she found out we were from out of town she asked us why we were here (our anniversary) and how we were finding their little town. She was ready with recommendations for food and entertainment and even had some interesting local history facts. She was as much a local your guide and historian as bartender. Taking it upon herself to write down the recommendations with addresses so we could put them in the gps. Upon finding out it was out anniversary she promptly offered to buy us a drink which we declined not wanting her to pay but she insisted and whipped us up a yummy Carmel apple shot. The regulars were all very friendly and it was obvious she knew them all well and had great care for them, greeting each by name, while making their drink before they even order, and the questions she asked them made it obvious she took the time and effort to truly know each of them and about what was going on in their life. Out of all the bars we’ve ever visited on our adventures she was truly the best and kindest bartender we’ve ever had. If we’re ever back in town we’ll be sure to call and see when she’s working to stop in and say hi. Thank you Casey for making our anniversary special and taking the time to make us feel special. You’re a rockstar

Great little dive, with cheap prices, wonderful people, friendly staff, great jam nights/local music, and a laid back environment. Best little bar in bucyrus. A ton of fun and no drama. Plus, once they decide you’re family you can’t shake em lol but really they do a lot or the community and take care of their regulars in hard times! There always seems to be an upcoming benefit to help out a customer having medical issues or to help a family with end of life expenses. Just all around a great little spot

Wren’s Nest is a quiet, intimate small-town bar that sits between two sets of railroad tracks. That having been said, train noise is seldom noticable. The bartenders are friendly and the crowd has always been pleasant when I’ve been there. The regulars when I am there are generally middle-aged to elderly, a small-town mix of men and women.
I don’t drink, but I play in a Sunday evening dart league. The Wren’s Nest has a large back room with four working electronic dart boards for soft tipped darts. Games are inexpensive, and the boards are networked for competitive play with other locations across the US and Canada. The bar offers loaner darts for casual gaming, but you’re encouraged to bring your own set to throw.
The back room has a bar of its own, and can be converted to seating and a dance floor for live entertainment. A door leads to a large, fenced-in, partially-covered outdoor area for smoking. Drinking is allowed outside.
Out front are a shuffleboard game and a jukebox. Televisions in front and back show live events, and they’re not turned up so loud you can’t have conversations.
It’s a good little establishment — don’t let its drab, white cinder block exterior fool you.

Great facility. Awesome staff. Enjoy performing there whether open jam or with my whole band. Great people hang out there. Never seen an issue anytime I’ve been there.

It’s my kind of place. It’s a dive bar for sure with a solid group of regulars. Not much in the way of food, they have frozen pizza. I’m a fan.
