First time and last time I am ever coming here. Was literally going to charge me for dividing cheese and butter in the middle of my cup. I have always asked for them to do this when I’ve gone to other locations so I didn’t make a mess mixing it up and I have never been charged. Obviously, this place must be hurting and based off of their reviews, I can see why. You’re going to charge somebody more for the same amount of cheese and butter? Absolutely ridiculous.

I went in looking forward to getting a elote but ended up very disappointed. The guys made me feel rushed and un-welcomed. I wanted to buy something to drink but the aguas frescas looked nasty. I will not be coming back.

I just went with my family for the first time and it was a terrible experience. The lady that helped us was very rude and wanted to charge us for extra forks or an empty plate to split the banana split between the kids. She got several of our orders wrong. We also had to ask multiple times just to get napkins. Not only that, she never once smiled and only glared. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Pick a different location.

Every time I go there the kids behind the counter always rush me to pick a flavor or a product. Like they are so busy or something. The quality of their products is not even 3 stars if you know what I mean. Last time the yogurt was steal and they refused to give me a refund on it. I don’t recommend this place due to their service and product standards. No bueno, go to other Michoacana places there are several in town.

Mangoneada tamarindo is bad, limón tastes spoiled. There random people sitting down just staring idk if they customers or employees they are just sitting there. There was only 1 guy working for 15 customers. The employee don’t even follow the line they be skipping people. They always on they phone calling management for help for the card payment system. First and last time I go here.

Bought a few ice cream bars from this place. .and yeah, they were spoiled. Bought a strawberry and a pecan bars and they tasted bland and almost bitter/sour like.

I wish I could give 0 star. My wife and I went there yesterday with one young lady taking care of the whole store. We got Elotes, my wife got in the cup and I got on the COB. unfortunately, the one on the stick was bad. I mean it was grey instead of yellow, mushy, and stinking. I took it back to that lady and told her that this is bad. not good. She agreed and even pulled out another one from the warmer and showed (and agreed) that it does look bad.
She called the owner/manager/someone incharge and they told her to tell us we are wrong, the corn is good. We were surprised that how irresponsible they are. The manager was not even there and said over the phone that the corn was good.
Anyway, we smiled and asked her to throw it away and on our way stepping out of the store we decided to never come back here. They definitely lost a customer. We have a business in Elgin literally down the street from where this location is and we were excited since we are big elote fans so we would have been their permanent customers.
Their loss!!

Customer service was fine. But what certainly was not fine was how they touch your food with no gloves and don’t serve drinks carefully. I was craving ice cream and I told my husband to take me to La Michoacana. When I went in I was greeted and the gentleman took my order. I told him what kind of cone I wanted and what ice cream. Well he grabbed the cone with his hands. NO GLOVES OR NAPKIN. I was not sure if he even sanitized his hands. When he was done serving my ice cream he went over to get my husband drink. Which was a Agua fresca. When he was pouring into the cup it seems like he was in a hurry. Not sure why if I was the only one in the store. So while Pouring the drink the water was going through his fingers and dripping back to the container of the agua fresca. This is really unhealthy and unsanitary. And of course In my mind I still had the thought of, did he sanitized his hand or no? so we just ended up throwing the ice cream and drink away. PLEASE MANAGEMENT TALK TO YOUR EMPLOYEES OF BEING MORE SANITARY !
