First no one greets you when you walk in. You stand there awkwardly while people just walk by. It took over 40 minutes to get appetizers! I could understand if they were busy but there was only 3 tables with customers besides us. We got the appetizers trio with cheese moons, garlic parmesan bone in wings and buffalo chicken tenders. The cheese “moons” are more like string cheese sticks cut in half and breaded. They were barely warm. When you cut them in half the cheese was solid. The bone in wings were overly sauced. The buffalo chicken tenders had no crispness at all. They tasted like they had just been dipped in a bowl of frank’s red hot sauce. My husband and I both got burgers. The pickles are not slices, they looked like spears cut in chunks. It made it awkward trying to keep it on the bun. I specifically said “Well done, no pink at all please.” Once I cut my burger in half, it was pink!! I sent it back and ate only the bland coleslaw. My husband ordered his well done, it indeed had no pink. He ordered his with sauté onions and mushrooms. They were cold! His cheese wasn’t even melted on his burger either. No seasoning either. Our server was polite but not real attentive. Needless to say our experience was very disappointing. We will not be going again.

Best onion rings I’ve ever had, so much flavor. And so much food for the price. Everything was cooked to perfection with so much flavor. It will be a frequent stop on our restaurant rotation. We got an appetizer of the brisket fries that could have been a meal. The appetizer put us into the $20-30 a person category, but just meals were under $20.

What a great find!!!! The food was amazing and the service even better. Highly recommend the VT loaded fries (our server recommend them)..sweet salty crunchy goodness on a plate.

We had lunch at Sarkys. We ordered the loaded fries with BBQ pulled pork ($11). The portion was huge. Not only the fresh cut fries which are done perfectly but the amount of pulled pork was way more than I expected. The fries and pork were absolutely delicious. My friend had the Smokehouse burger ($16). This burger is piled high with brisket and house made onion rings. He enjoyed it. His only critique was it could’ve been a little hotter. I had the brisket sandwich which was good. The brisket was like butter. Melt in your mouth. My only critique was it also could’ve been warmer and my personal preference would be sans lettuce and tomato. We opted for salads instead of fries and they make homemade blue cheese dressing which is chunky and tasty.
People say its cold in there which is true of the main dining room. We sat in the bar area which was very warm and comfortable.
Overall the food was great. The value is great. We met the owner and talked about their journey in the restaurant business. Very nice lady who obviously works hard everyday. We will definitely go back. I want to try the wings and dunk them in that chunky blue cheese dressing. Its worth a visit. Thank You.

Waitress/bartender was awesome! Had no problem splitting checks as there were 6 of us, drinks came out promptly and were good!! Everyone’s food was great! Better bring your appetite cause portions are quite large! Will definitely return!! So much more on the menu to try!

If you are someone that travels and likes southern BBQ, you won’t like this. The food is more sweet then smoked. NIce people, good service, but the food is not great. Maple sugar has no place on smoked meat. Smoked meat should be served smoked not sweetened. That is why they put the BBQ sauces on the table down south. Let people dress their own plate. Just my two cents :o)

Had a very weird experience here. Ordered some Thai chilie loaded fries on the recommendation of our waitress (who was very nice!) And when they arrived, the fries had ranch all over them and un-melted cheese. My boyfriend doesn’t like ranch so we apologized and the waitress took the fries back. We had absolutely no problem paying for the fries and even told the waitress it was absolutely our mistake. Then a woman (who I assume was an owner) came out and scolded us about the fries, saying she couldn’t just comp food everytime someone didnt read the menu. We admitted that it was our mistake and that we had no problem paying for the fries. The owner continued to scold us. We were so uncomfortable after this that as soon as our food came out, we boxed it up and left. The food was delicious by the way and we made sure to tip the waitress well for her trouble. If the owner hadn’t made us feel so unwelcome we would have been back. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be stopping in ever again.

We came to New Hampshire from western New York, and tried Sarkys the night we got here, customer service was welcoming and kind. we got the food to go because we had our dogs. Everything was very good, well priced, and big portions, more than we could eat TBH. Thank you to the staff and thank you all.

Second time going. Walk in get seated and after 5mins get told they are all out of smoked meats. Was only 6:30 when they close at 8. Glad I drove 20mins to get here… first time was amazing. Not coming back.
