I will start by saying this is my perfect restaurant. Clean, fresh ingredients, all made in house. The dressings are all homemade and mouth watering. Locally roasted coffee and the perfect bread for everything. The sausage gravy was better than some I have had down south, perfect French fries, maybe the best French toast I’ve ever had. Literally everything was incredible and perfect. I will making a trip back to Kalamazoo just to eat here.

Really great atmosphere and service. Everything was fast, delicious, and a great value. I enjoyed some of the best sausage gravy I’ve ever had. I love that it’s a family business, and that the owners give their son free reign to make food that tastes good! You can tell that what you’re eating was never frozen, boxed, or came from a can. Service was stellar and we even got to meet one of the owners (probably because we couldn’t stop gushing about how great everything was). Their coffee is local! Their bathrooms are SPOTLESS! If you’re in the area, a local, or just visiting, you won’t be disappointed. I wish we could make this a regular spot.

OMG! This is What you call a Scratch Kitchen! Everything made fresh and by hand. I watched a customer want to talk to the cook and compliment him on his Corn Beef Hash. He said it was like Homemade. And the cook told him – it real Corn Beef that he cut up. I will definitely visit this Friendly establishment again. Priced Right too

First time visiting. We were greeted by one of the owners and had a nice chat.
The menu was so good it was hard to choose from.
I love rueben sandwiches, and it was highly recommended by our server. It was the best I’ve ever had and exceeded expectations.
Tender and flavor filled.
Fries excellent and very yummy coffee to top it all off.
Can’t wait to come back and try other food adventures out.
It is truly worth our drive.

Excellent breakfast spot! I loved the cinnabun coffee and the vegetarian omelette turned into a burrito hit the spot. Our server was super sweet, too!

We came with a group of 10 unexpectedly for lunch and they graciously took us all in and the service was so outstanding! I ordered the avocado toast and was blown away. The whole table was jealous of my order and I ate every bit! Such a great light lunch and they really elevated what would normally be a simple dish with what I believe was charred tomatoes and topped with a perfectly cooked egg and pickled onions. The side of fruit paired perfectly with! Highly recommend will come back any time I’m in town!

It was super empty and extremely quiet it made for a perfect environment there were only two other tables when we went in parking was hard to find.
Is the food was good I had the classic smashburger while my husband had the traditional.
Staff was super on point and intuitive.

Our bill was only $33 I made sure to leave a $10 tip due to service and friendliness I highly recommend coming here

In town for alum weekend @WMU, stayed downtown. Sunday morning fog demanded good eats. 2 block walk and into this amazing little treat.
Biscuits and gravy, the most delicious ever. Biscuits were so light and easy. The gravy was by far the tastiest I’ve eaten in a restaurant.
French toast, so good. So light and easy.
Recommend this place so much.
