My recent visit on fathers day with family for the lunch buffet offered a bit of a mixed experience, though some elements truly shone. While the food was good, it leaned towards the bland side, and the buffet options felt a little uninspired. With a few subtle tweaks, the offerings could be far more appealing. Adding a traditional rasam, a flavorful fry curry, a paneer curry and some crispy papad would undoubtedly create a more complete and enticing lunch spread. Additionally, the food wasn’t warm enough, which unfortunately detracted from the overall taste. Warm food always enhances the dining experience.
However, the undisputed highlight of the entire meal was the Irani Chai. This exceptional offering was truly a game-changer! As someone who has searched extensively, I can confidently say I’ve never found authentic Irani Chai anywhere else in New Jersey. For this alone, I’m happy to give a five-star rating – it was that good. Their masala papad was also a delightful treat, perfectly seasoned and crispy.
Beyond the food, the customer service was exceptional. The owners personally checked in with us multiple times, genuinely ensuring we were enjoying our meal and doing everything they could to make us happy. Their attentiveness truly made us feel valued.
Despite some of the buffet’s shortcomings, I’m definitely looking forward to trying their à la carte menu in the future, hoping to discover more culinary gems like their fantastic Irani Chai.

If you think you know dosa, think again—because chocolate dosa completely changes the game.

Traditionally, dosa is a crispy, golden South Indian crepe made from fermented rice and lentil batter. But when chocolate enters the picture? It becomes a dessert masterpiece. Imagine a perfectly thin, lightly crisp dosa fresh off the griddle, its edges delicately crunchy while the center stays soft and warm. Then comes the magic: rich, melted chocolate spread generously across the surface, slowly melting into every fold.

The first bite is unreal. You get that slight tang from the dosa batter balanced by the deep sweetness of the chocolate. The textures contrast beautifully—crispy edges, soft interior, silky chocolate. If it’s topped with extras like bananas, strawberries, or even a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it turns into something straight out of a dream café menu.

What makes chocolate dosa so special is how it blends tradition with creativity. It respects the roots of classic South Indian street food but adds a playful, modern twist that makes it perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. It’s comforting, indulgent, and surprisingly satisfying without being overly heavy.

Whether you try it at a street stall, a trendy dessert café, or make it at home, chocolate dosa is the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite and think, “Why didn’t I try this sooner?”

Rating: 10/10 — crispy, chocolatey perfection. ✨

We live in Canada and were visiting our family friends in NJ. We stopped by this restaurant for lunch on a weekend and were amazed with the authenticity of their Andhra/Chettinad cuisine. We loved the Chilly baby corn, Mutton Sukka (gravy), butter naan and Hyderabadi goat dum biriyani. Please note their spice levels are tad bit high (matches Andhra standards). The spice level we ordered was medium and yet i ended up sweating . Overall we loved the restaurant and would recommend this to fans of Chettinadu/Andhra cuisine.

Once we ordered soup, and chicken biryani, and both of them were very tasty and very much reminded me of hyderabadi taste. The quantity was very good and prices are too decent! recommend it highly!

At another time, we ordered garlic naan and veggie ( eggplant) and a chicken dish… all the items tasted so well, we lived it. recommend it highly.

The service was amazing, we came in around 9:00 pm and they still were on top of things. Our food came in very quickly and was nice and hot. We ordered chicken 65, gobi 65, garlic naan, veg noodles, and paneer butter masala gravy. The food was delicious and tasted amazing. It was a clean environment with nice music too! The staff was super kind too, we’ll definitely be returning!

On my way home, I stopped by this place to pick up food and ordered the goat sukka and pepper fry chicken. I’ve tried these dishes at many restaurants, but here they were absolutely good. The flavors were spot on and everything was cooked perfectly. Compliments to the chef—definitely worth stopping by again.

If you crave for traditional south Indian dosa’s you have to try Dosa-Night on Thursdays. The dosas are so crispy and tasty you could make it as a habit to visit them frequently. We tried their weekend lunch buffets a few times and that is awesome as well. Highly recommended!!!

Dosa night is amazing. For just $12, you get unlimited dosas with a very tasty sambar + chutneys. They have masala dosa, crispy paper dosa, and uttapam with authentic flavors. The vadas were crispy and soft. Simple and done well!

Bad experience! They are trying to handle more customers to what they could handle on Dosa night. Food is not good, on the top. If you still want to try avoid buffets at the very least.

Also they are charging extra $0.54 for card transactions. I later realized, they don’t even ask for cash.
