Edit: I also posted this review to Facebook and was given the exact same reply as this. I also put in a comment on their website. I have received NO RESPONSE after 5 days. All of the bad reviews have the same canned response and in my case, no follow up. Avoid Mountain Mike’s at all costs.

Disappointing Experience

We tried Mountain Mike’s on Sunday January 18th after hearing great things, but unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing.

One of my daughters cannot tolerate tomato sauce, so earlier in the day we called to confirm whether they could make her pizza with an olive‑oil base instead. We were told this would be no problem. Since the app didn’t offer that option, my husband called in the order and again confirmed the substitution. He was reassured that the order was entered as “no red sauce, sub olive oil.”

When I arrived for pickup, the receipt only said “no red sauce.” I asked the staff to confirm the pizza was made correctly, and they discovered it had been made plain—no sauce and no olive oil. They offered to remake it. Our other pizza and garlic knots were already done, but I didn’t want them sitting in a warmer for 20 minutes, so I asked for those to be remade as well. The employee seemed reluctant, but agreed. I waited another 20 minutes in the store.

When we finally got everything home, the quality was poor. The garlic knots were burnt. The sausage pizza (with olive oil) was correct in base but had barely any sausage—some slices had only one piece. The pepperoni pizza tasted fine but had nowhere near the amount of pepperoni shown in their photos.

We spent almost $50 on this order and were extremely disappointed from start to finish. Unfortunately, we won’t be ordering from Mountain Mike’s again.

This is tough, because I really thought that the other bad reviews were being too harsh, but I’m going to have to agree with them on this one.
There’s a lot of disappointment with our experience and I’ll be fair but honest.

First, the price: we had a coupon; $25 for a large pepperoni, 20 garlic bread sticks and a 2 liter soda. That’s reasonable price for the amount of food we were getting. We got that, extra sauce ($1.00 add on) and then a 15% tip for a total of around $33.50 with tax, give or take some change.

Second, the order experience: We placed our order at about 4:30pm. we ordered online for in store pick up. The website said we’d get an email when our order was ready. The website stated the pizza would take 25 minutes. 45 minutes later, still no email and when we got to the pizza place, the pizza was ready and was warm when we got it.

Third, the service: the employee seemed annoyed with us. When they met us at the counter, they didn’t say anything, just stared at us. When we told them we had an online order, they asked for the name, they got us our order, handed it to us. We said thank you, and they replied “have a good night” and walked away back into the back. They weren’t exactly rude, but it definitely felt a bit off putting.

Forth, The atmosphere of the place felt very uninviting, almost like a chuckee cheeses but more corporate feeling. There’s a small arcade in the place but nothing about it all felt inviting.

Now for the food.
I can’t say I enjoyed it. It was a let down. The pizza was really greasy, and the dough was slightly undercooked. The pepperonis were good, some were burned, but some were perfectly crispy. It feels heavy to eat. I’d honestly put it on par with Little Caesars but like 4 times the price. It doesn’t reheat well either. The garlic cheese bread sticks were a let down. Dry, tough and only about half had cheese of them. The marinara sauce was really good though.

Overall, I really can’t recommend this place to anyone, as there are better places at the same price point.

Oh my goodness! Hello Mountain Mikes Pizza! We ordered online for pick up. Very easy to build your own pizza. We got two individual pizzas and they were perfect! I am vegan and I got the veggie. This is one of the best vegan pizzas I have had. With the fresh toppings, delicious crust, and yummy red sauce, I don’t even miss the cheese! My daughter got pepperoni and said it was amazing. They were under $10 each. Thank you so much for a delicious, affordable pizza!

Small strip mall location with limited seating. Another place that asks for tip even before trying the food. Nice salad bar where most everything is hard to reach. Limited pizza options on buffet. Food was good and likely good for lunch for those nearby. Not worth a longer drive but an okay option if in the area.

Tried a new pizza joint in the new Salmon Creek Vancouver Plaza right off the interstate near Trader Joe’s. I had the Everest Pizza which is like a Supreme Pizza and it was delicious. I would highly recommend if your in the mood for a good pizza and your in the area. They also provide a military discount of 15%.

I ordered the McKinley pizza which is their version of a supreme and I added pineapples and it was DELICIOUS. They told me it would be about 30 min it was like 5 o’clock ish so, that made sense. Pizza was packed with ingredients and the arcade they have looked pretty fun for a small place. Overall, highly recommend.

Tried the lunch buffet and it was ok. The staff was friendly. It’s not a bad deal for all you can eat but the pizza is just ok. The restaurant is small with limited seating. The prices on the menu seemed high to me. If you want a lunch buffet you definitely can get enough to satisfy you but don’t expect a great pizza.

I will start by saying the management made things right by comping our pizza. First time in and I know MMP and was excited we have one close. Our medium thin crust with sausage, red onion, tomato and sausage was disappointing. Not thin crust. No tomato. And there was barely any sausage. The majority of pieces had no sausage at all. I know MMP prides themselves on lots of toppings and this was not representative. Hope they get their team to slow down, get the order right, and hit the mark moving forward. Can’t say we are looking to order again based on our experience.

we’re down the road and excited it’s open! my boyfriend and i got a medium pepperoni, added jalapeños and pineapples and got 1 unlimited salad bar, no drinks in total we paid $34. the staff was really nice and helpful and the pizza was absolutely delicious!!! now for the atmosphere.. it was awkwardly quiet in there.. TVs are going but no sound, i can’t remember if there was even music playing.. to get to the back row of the salad bar you have to basically press your cheek against the glass or duck your head under the glass. The staff offered to serve items from the salad bar when they saw anyone struggling with this (again, really nice and helpful staff) walked over to the small arcade area to find a $7 claw machine…

The friendly, helpful staff, and delicious pizza made this one of our new favourite places for take out!

Well a lot of pizza places stopped with the salad bar during Covid, but these guys have one so that was really exciting for me! The lil arcade area the kids had fun in too. They have about six beers on tap and you can buy a full 2 liter, so all pluses there! Service was great. Establishment was clean. The pizzas were loaded with toppings but the sauce flavor definitely was lacking. We had to smother it with chili and Parmesan and while I’d go back for the open salad bar, the pizza didn’t really speak to the fam :/
