We had an amazing dinner at Saltwater Restaurant and loved every moment of it.
The fish dishes were outstanding, and the crab was absolutely incredible. Everything we tried was top quality and beautifully prepared.
The service was excellent as well. Everyone was so nice, attentive, and helpful, which made the experience even better.
The atmosphere was amazing: warm, welcoming, and perfect for a special evening.
Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Guernsey!

What an amazing surprise. We were just driving around and thought we would see if we could get food on a Sunday lunchtime and despite them being fully booked they managed to squeeze 2 of us in. Everything about the place was 5*. Scallops to start, mussels and roast beef. Tye portion sizes were huge but the quality of the food was outstanding.
Great services from everyone and to top it off the sun was shining in April.

While the food was good the service was shockingly slow. 20 mins to get a drink, a further 20 mins to take our food order. Starters turned up 40 mins later followed by main courses an hour or so later. Handed menus for desserts but never returned. After arriving at 7pm we left at 10pm and only two courses. The food was good but not worth the wait.

Was there a few months back and really impressed, not as good this time (xmas) mainly starters were poorish, washed shrimps salad with deep fried soft shell crab was unintresting, beetroot mean but mains were again very nice and not mean in sizes. Arrived on time but other people that arrived later were served before us. We had to go back a second time to get menus as service of lunch was coming to an end. Once that was sorted everything fell into place and we had a great time nice and relaxed very sedate pace. Menu has a good choice at reasonable prices and portion are quite large. I was expecting the fish pie to come in a dish but this was a present surprise. Food well presented and very hot and great taste. We have not been here before but will come back. It was a nice cycle ride up to Saltwater from Vason through the lanes.

Visited this evening and had the most delicious meal! The staff were all so friendly and helpful, they really couldn’t do enough for us. The seafood was fresh and the helpings were exceedingly generous.
The restaurant setting is beautiful and the view over the harbour was extraordinary in the evening sun.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Not too full. Salad and Goats cheese.
Menu incorporated Xmas Turkey yay !
Brussels pigs in blankets , red Cabbage, stuffing, parsnips and roast potatoes. The roast potatoes were very crispy and nice. Pig was well cooked. Brussels al dente but a bit firm for me.
Side order of new potatoes
My dining companion had beef brisket. This was also very tasty.

Beautiful location. Excellent service and fabulous food. The best lobster I’ve eaten and I’ve eaten lots Felt the oysters were too small but still delicious

Really great service.
Food is very high quality. Definitely has “fancy dinner” prestige. Something to consider is that it is a fish-heavy menu (being next to the ocean and being fresh caught), but there is still enough for people that don’t fancy fish.
Atmosphere is nice. Sat by the window or out on the deck for the harbour views with a great view of the the other islands. It’s also gives a nice alternative to the typical castle-Herm-Sark views that Guernsey is known for.
