My fiance and I treated ourselves to Burrito Lab for the first time today and it was delicious! The portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh. We love al pastor so we tried the pork al pastor burrito and walking nachos with chicken al pastor. Both were delicious! The prices are very good for the amount of food you get. The team was also very kind and friendly, which made picking up the food an enjoyable experience.

I have frequented Chipotle and Pancheroes many times, and I will say I believe The Burrito Lab is superior.
The quality of the bowl I got(I NEVER GET BOWLS, They end up not tasting cohesive to me, especially when adding guac and pico)
I have been dieting a bit so I had to get a bowl and let me tell you it was AMAZING. All the elements of the different ingredients created an amazing meal. I don’t leave reviews often(check my profile), but this time it was warranted

The best burrito bowl around! My only regret is I didn’t hear about it sooner. 10/10, I highly recommend this restaurant! I won’t name drop but compared to another popular chain this is hands down the best burrito place in Champaign, and I value that it’s locally owned as well. Staff is friendly, service is fast, food is tasty, and they have healthy options and the most generous servings. So glad we have burrito lab in chambana!

Highly recommend! After the mediocre experiences we’ve had at both Chipotle locations in town, this place exceeded expectations. Very reasonably priced, especially with the student discount they offer. Staff was very friendly and our bowls were loaded.

Very friendly owner/employees, but the flavor was just not there in the rice and beans and sauces (rice seemed especially bland).
The queso was really good though! And they give free queso and guacamole included. The chips did not taste that fresh and probably need to be changed up to be more exciting.
But it was a nice filling meal and I wish I could afford to go out to eat more often because I’d love to support local businesses like this.

The people working here are very friendly and they serve a generous amount of food plus discount for students. You could get a monster 2lb+ burrito stuffed with as much toppings as you want without having to do any tricks like some other places.

I have been so excited about the new restaurant The Burrito Lab to open! Today was the day and I made sure to be there for lunch! I ordered the steak burrito and had cheese, lettuce, corn, black beans and Spanish rice and FREE guacamole on it. I love the fact that you get an unlimited number of topping choices with your order without it being an additional cost! The burrito was large, filled with ingredients and delicious! The steak has very nice flavor and very tender. Next time I think I will get double meat because it was so good! The Spanish rice was very fluffy and flavorful as well. I wasn’t able to finish my burrito at lunch due to getting full but I look forward to finishing it for supper. With tip, I spent barley over $11 so the burrito lab I feel is very affordable with great food and value. I will absolutely be back!
