I have to share my love for Amazing Chicken! I’m from Charleston, where we have some great restaurants, but whenever I’m in McCormick, I can’t resist stopping by the Drive Inn for their two-piece Chicken Breast plate—it’s a real treat! And don’t miss out on their hotdogs with slaw; they’re a must-try! This local gem really shows off Southern hospitality, and I promise, you won’t be disappointed with the delicious food! Enjoy!

I’m giving the food a five. The chicken was really good and we tried the corn nuggets since we heard they were good and we’re not disappointed. The okra was great. The restaurant is small and I think a lot of the business is carry out. They got a lot of phone calls and were quite busy in the kitchen. Good fried chicken takes 30 minutes so it’s not a place to go in a hurry. If we’re in the area again we would probably call in a to go order and get extras for leftovers.

I had such a great meal here! I had the Philly sandwich with onion rings, and corn nuggets and everything tasted so good. I was also able to have a bite of their chicken and it was so crispy and delicious. The server was so sweet and attentive. I’m definitely going back to try another one of their plates.

Great for chicken but the customer service is beyond poor. Called for over an hour and a half to place an order for pick up as I don’t live in the area and know it takes them 30 minutes to make chicken. 2 days in a row and I drove over an hour for chicken. One day I showed up at 6:32 and they stop making chicken at 6:30 and denied to service me. I showed them my call log of multiple calls trying to place the order prior to that time. I used to love the chicken but after such horrible customer service the chicken isn’t worth it.

So it seems McCormick is famous for their “hole in the wall” restaurant’s. This one is a little harder to find than the others.. but what a reward that awaits you when you do find it….
It’s just down to earth good food. It’s made to order so be prepared to sit a spell. The workers are great company!!!
The catfish is awesome. And so is the fried pork chops….. well let’s put it this way… order whatever you want off that menu.. you are sure to be pleased with your order. It’s ALLLLLLLLLLL good!!

Food is definitely not the same as it use to be. Our chicken had absolutely no seasoning. Not to mention it took an hour and 15 minutes for 12 pieces of chicken to be ready with no apologies or anything. I wont be returning.
