Our first time…my birthday. It was excellent. Steak potato salad shrimp rolls…service was excellent. If we could recommend anything it would be soup spoons and better quality forks clith napkins very nice touch….we are coming back very soon

Honestly, an amazing experience from the moment we walked in. Service was amazing. Hostess is SO friendly. Food was delicious (soups, cheese dip and rolls… yum!!). And get that cookie pie sundae!! We’re a large family so it’s a “special occasion” restaurant for us but we will definitely be back.

I just moved to Greeneville from just north of Tampa, but have family here and vacationed here for many years, and we’ve always eaten here, with that being said! I came in tonight with my in-laws Uncle Bob & Terry, Cheryl remembered what I wanted and how I wanted my steak ! ! Just blown away that she remembers everyone!!!! Whistle stop is a must for dinner when you are in the area, the food is always fresh & cooked perfectly, staff is extremely inviting and the restaurant is phenomenally clean !!! Make it a regular stop !!!! You will not be sorry.

We had dinner there tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Atmosphere was great and food excellent! We lost track of time and didn’t realize it until I noticed it was dark.
When you sit down baskets of crackers and cheese spread are brought to you. This is then followed by soup.
Each entree has a salad with it along with one side. I ordered the deep fried shrimp but wasn’t sure if I would rather have the charbroiled. She offered to bring half & half without me asking. I thought that was such a nice thing to do.
My daughter had the salmon and my granddaughter chicken. Both enjoyed their dinners.
You get so much food that it makes the prices moderate.
The owner is very hands on and is so attentive to her customers. She makes sure that you enjoy your visit!
