The white-cut meat was served and it was completely different from what I expected! It contained beef, tripe and tendons, and was paired with onions and bean sprouts. The plus point was the fragrant garlic, which, when combined with their sauce, was so delicious that I couldn’t get enough of it. The tendons were so tender and I loved it so much
The spicy pickled crabs are so deliciously seasoned. Who wouldn’t love a sweet and spicy seafood ice cream? Once served, it’s gone in no time, with people taking one bite after another. Even my friend who doesn’t like crabs had his first taste and couldn’t stop eating so much.
The spicy octopus rice bowl is really fragrant. The octopus is so chewy and bouncy, and it’s so delicious. I also ordered the combo of cream soup and grilled steak, which is very cost-effective. The cream soup goes perfectly with the sticky rice bowl. There’s even a recommendation on the napkin for how to enjoy the cream soup. The soup is so creamy and rich.
?? Here, you can also find the same style of Sunnongdan’s pork ribs stew, but at a more affordable price. There are two sizes to choose from, and even the smaller one is enough for two people. Once you take a bite, the meat just falls off the bone, tender and flavorful.
The staff are all very nice. It’s a place I’ll definitely come back to. The Korean food here really suits my taste and there are many side dishes. This is the most satisfying Korean meal I’ve had recently, without a doubt. Recently, many people have been coming to Chino Hiking to see the cows . You really should give it a try.
The grilled beef patty was juicy with a nice char and a slightly sweet sauce. Loved the spicy octopus rice bowl — chewy octopus, rich sauce, and very addictive.
Plenty of banchan to balance the meal. Service was friendly and attentive with frequent check-ins and refills. Would definitely come back!
What I didn’t like is the portion for the spicy beef rib, $28 for medium size, for 4 piece spicy ribs, with bite size meat on bones, bones look good but it’s not edible. Flavor is one of the best I’ve tasted, value not getting to my par
UPDATE
Based on rib prices from Costco, I’d say it’s pretty reasonable here, thus raising to full stars
The first time I came here was on Christmas Eve, and from the very first bite, I knew this place was something special. Every dish is crafted with the kind of care and attention you would expect from a homemade meal, like something straight out of a Ratatouille moment… pure comfort, even if you did not grow up eating Korean food.
The meat quality is unreal. Every cut is rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Even the banchan, side dishes that most places treat as an afterthought, are made with such care that they could be a meal on their own. Nothing here is rushed. Every bite feels intentional.
The staff makes the experience even better. They are warm, welcoming, and if you come back often, they will remember you. Even on your first visit, they make you feel like you belong.
Whether you love Korean food or are trying it for the first time, this place will not disappoint. Order anything. Better yet, order everything. It will be one of the best meals you have had in a long time.
We got the garlic tofu bites, a doganitang, and a sullungtang. My parents really liked the doganitang and said there were lots of big chunks of tendon in the soup. They also really loved the kimchi, and seaweed side dishes.
Staff seated us immediately as we came inside. There was no wait. They came to take our orders promptly as well. Always checked in with us to see if we needed anything too.
Inside of the restaurant is very nice and they play KPop music. Seems to only seat around 12 tables (?) if I remember correctly.
