Our first visit to Isha Restaurant was good, which is why we decided to visit again. Unfortunately, the recent experience was very disappointing.

The front desk staff, who was also taking orders in the late evening, was rude, inattentive, and constantly on her mobile phone. When we informed them that the chicken mandi had no salt added, there was no response or attempt to fix the issue. While paying the bill and leaving, we raised the concern again, and the staff responded with a rude expression, saying that “the chef said it already has all the flavors needed.” This response felt dismissive and unprofessional.

Compared to our previous visit, the portion sizes have reduced and the quality of food has gone down.

The ambience is authentic and pleasant, but the overall experience was affected by poor service and lack of basic hygiene. Customers are required to remove footwear before sitting and eating, yet we noticed the same staff member walking into the seating area with footwear on, which felt disrespectful and unhygienic.

Good ambience alone cannot make up for declining food quality, rude service, and hygiene concerns. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the customer experience.

This place is so good, my first time having Indian food and it did not disappoint! I got the Chicken curry with the indian spicy spice level and it was so flavorful and the chicken so tender! We also started off with the chicken somosas and they were also a 10/10!

Benton, Arkansas is lucky to have this place. I’ve had Indian food here in the US and in the UK. This place is right up there with what I had in London. I ordered the Veg Samosa, Chicken Tikka and Garlic Naan. All were excellent! Preparation and the taste was great! Highly recommend!

We did the four piece Sandiwala Red Chicken Mandi and it was absolutely phenomenal. The rice in itself was amazing, but the chicken was tender, juicy, and flavorful. We also highly recommend the mango lassi and the lentil soup was a hit even with my 8 year old. I will definitely be back, this is the best meal I’ve had in years. I’ll update next time with a picture before we dig in.

The ambience is bright, clean, and very welcoming. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and seated right away. The menu offers an excellent variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The food is flavorful, served in generous portions, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and quantity provided.

Overall, this is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and outstanding service. I definitely recommend visiting and experiencing it for yourself!

Had lunch at ISHA Taste of India and absolutely loved it! Tried the juicy Mutton Mandi, flavorful Ginger Flex Chicken, rich Lamb Rogan Josh, and ended with the perfect dessert Rasmalai. The ambience is warm and inviting, and the service is super friendly. This place is a great addition for Benton area foodies!

Excited for the buffet to start so I can sample even more of their dishes. Also, the cleanest Indian store I’ve ever visited top notch service all around. Highly recommend!

Worst Indian food I’ve ever had in my life.
I ordered the tandoori platter, chicken samosas, garlic naan, and a side of onion and chilies.

The samosa and the naan were simply nasty and had absolutely no flavor. The tandoori platter is described as “An assorted mix of tandoori favorites including chicken, shrimp, and paneer—perfect for sharing” The chicken was too bland in taste and nothing about this was shareable. The “Fresh Onion Chillies” was literally just a raw cut onion and jalapeno pepper. Neither look like the picture they have on the site. Pictures show what I got vs what I ordered.

I never complain about money I spend on food because I think its all an experience, but I know how good Indian food should taste and this was just so bad to have paid for.

I moved here from the UK, where Indian food is everywhere, and this place really hit the spot. The vindaloo wasn’t quite the taste I remember, but it was still very good. The korma, though, absolutely brilliant! Creamy, rich, and just like the ones I grew up with. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. A lovely surprise to find a proper curry this good here! I took the photo after I’d already eaten most of it, couldn’t wait, sorry!

If you come here for thali, make sure you order 3 thali per person. They charge 20$ for a non-veg thali which has one piece of meat and ya one spoon of yogurt.
This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had at an Indian restaurant. The food portions were shockingly small—so small it felt like a joke. For the prices they charge, you’d expect a decent serving, but what arrived looked like a sample spoon, not a meal.
We couldn’t take it and asked for the manager, he did acknowledge this is not right and added our portion with food that felt like yesterday’s leftover right out of freezer. No taste and smell weird.
Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers. This place cares more about overcharging than serving real food.

Highly Recommend…. Chicken Biryani was excellent. Juicy, tender chicken. Perfect spices and heat. Indian hot is pretty spicy so beware. The garlic naan was delicious. Sorry no pictures, we were hungry and forgot. Everything was very good. We got the shrimp tikka masala and it was very rich and flavorful. Little heavy on the tomato but still very good. Kind of cool that they have traditional Indian seating available. We will be sure to try that next time we come in. Service was excellent, and the restaurant is very clean.
