The restaurant is cute and inviting, but this is one of the worst experiences Ive ever had dining. The server sat and talked with another table for at least 20-25 minutes she never came to refill a drink or check on the quality of my food which was god awful. The quality of the food and drinks were both highly disappointing. My Cesar salad had more dressing than lettuce, the shrimp and grits was disgusting, particularly the yellow corn meal grits. When asked to return the item, the waitress said management would not allow it. Do not come to this restaurant. I see why they have a 3.5 or less rating.
I should’ve taken a video of the waitress talking to the other table they were so engulfed in their conversation she never came to give me a check she only stopped talking when I got up and asked someone else for my check. DON’T COME HERE!!! You’ll be better off going by to a juicy crab In town!

I have never been to a restaurant where the food and service was bad. My Saturday evening was ruined. The oysters were overcooked. The fried shrimp were frozen. The cocktail sauce came out with water settled in it. I guess it had been sitting somewhere too long. I requested fries with no Cajun seasoning. Guess what. It came with Cajun seasoning. I paid the bill and left most of my food on the table. Seriously consider this rating when looking for good seafood.

Great atmosphere, awesome service, nice easy music playing, a really great vibe. Chef B is the best she is really assertive, attentive, and personable. Also my server was Kayla she was excellent. Best crab spot around!

We recently visited Angry Crab Shack and had a pretty enjoyable meal overall—though there were definitely highs and lows. We started off with the fried sampler appetizer, and it was a hit at the table. Everything was well-seasoned and crispy, and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
For my main, I went with a pound of snow crab, head-off shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage. The flavor was great across the board, though the sausage was a bit overcooked. Others at the table tried the jambalaya, which got good reviews, and one guest ordered the grilled salmon—it looked fresh, healthy, and she said it was delicious. The Tropical Tris drinks were also a crowd-pleaser. Everyone who had one really enjoyed it.
Now for the downside: the service. Unfortunately, there was only one waitress working—and she was also tending bar. We saw several families walk in and then turn around because no one was available to seat them. A few people who were seated actually left due to the wait. But I want to highlight one bright spot: our server, Andrea. Despite being overwhelmed, she kept a positive attitude, stayed on top of things, and got our food out. You could see her frustration, but she never let it show in a negative way. She deserves serious credit for holding it down under tough conditions. She truly did a great job.
In short: good food, great drinks, but the service situation needs some serious improvement. Andrea, though—she’s the MVP.

This was our first experience dining at this establishment and it was a great overall experience. Daisy was our server and she tended to all our requests with prompt, efficient, and professional service. She also made the conscious effort to maintain our beverage refills & continuously checked on us with pleasant energy. The lobster was divine and was prepared to perfection — literally slide out the shell! I would honestly rate the food 4.5/5! It was all seasoned well, decent portions, and tasted great. Our only gripe was the corn being a bit overcooked. The alcoholic beverages were also executed to perfection!

I really enjoyed my lunch. I had the chargrilled oysters. Perfect. I ordered the snow crab legs and corn medium trifecta. Chefs kiss. I had 2 of the groove drink. Their version of a pina colada. I would def go back. Draya was my waitress. She gave excellent customer service and made the drinks.

Ordered large Caesar salad no croutons with grilled shrimp. Salad came out swimming in dressing and absolutely disgusting. I sent it back asking for a fraction of the dressing. It came out with nearly the same amount. Server was great about it but what can i say other than dont eat the Caesar? Shrimp where good though.

This was my first visit to this Angry Crab location. The atmosphere was quiet, with just a few families and individuals dining during our time there. Though the food took a while to arrive—understandably, as there was only one person working in the kitchen—the quality made up for the wait. Our waitress was friendly and engaging, which added a pleasant touch to the experience. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and the cornbread dessert was a standout.

“ANGRY”, Is the perfect way to describe our experience when we left this place… It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. We’ve dined here some time ago and it was a very different experience as we recalled so we revisited. First standing waiting to be seated on a restaurant with only 3 occupied tables is crazy. After ordering a half dozen oysters and specifying that they be my appetizer but then receive my entree before my appetizer and being told by the server “white guy blonde hair with ponytail” that we bring the food out as the kitchen puts it up but if you only put the appetizer in then only the appetizer will come out first sir.❌ then allow your guest to enjoy the appetizer for about 5 minutes, then you put in the main entree ♀️ ❌while eating these “fresh oysters” I tasted a crunch which was extremely hard I spit that out ❌ I then move to the next oyster had the same exact experience but this time it chipped my tooth! ❌ I told the server what happened he suggested that I speak to a manager, a manager came out asking me about fried pickles that I never ordered I was asking for her to let her know about the incident all she did was say “I’ll remove the oysters from your bill” never asking me was I okay and never apologizing!! Neither did she or the our server☹️❌ we also ordered chicken wings with sauce on the side, the sauce was all butter and oil with seasoning sitting at the bottom of the cup wings were frozen wings just thrown in the fryer very bland no flavor whatsoever! ❌ My main entree was fried catfish and red beans and rice the rights for the beans was so sticky and overcooked and the beans black flavor as well. We asked for salt four times in order to enhance the flavor of this food, our food was cold before it ever came!❌ My fiance ordered the shrimp Rice bowl I guess it was okay he only complain about it lacking flavor and having to smother it with the oily seasoning and salt!❌ SUCH A WASTE, FOOD SERVICE IN ATLANTIC STATION SHOULD REQUIRE STANDARDS, THIS RESTAURANT HAS NONE!!! ❌ ❌
