My husband and I were traveling back from Sevierville to North Alabama and looking for a good place to eat breakfast. He found this on Google maps. I love little places like this that are authentic & the locals (the owner) cook in the kitchen. Sarah and her husband Sean were absolutely wonderful as servers working together. The Atmosphere is great and the food is spectacular. If you like vintage decorations and great food, This is the place for you to go eat. We had the western omelette with hashbrowns and a huge croissant. I asked for honey for the croissant and she brought me a big jar of honey to spoon out of . Absolutely wonderful!

What an interesting place on the side of the road! Passed them so many times but we finally decided to give them a try. Definitely an eclectic mix of things inside, as well as the seating. Very much a homey feeling. Clean feeling too even though it’s an older building. When we walked in it only took a moment to be welcomed in and invited us to choose where we wanted to sit. The two ladies hosting were both so incredibly nice. The definition of true southern hospitality. My husband and I each got the cheese omelette and added peppers/onion/tomato. There wasn’t even an upcharge which I thought was pretty awesome for all the yummy veggies. Hashbrowns were freshly grated which was thrilling for me. Finally a place that is making them FRESH! Mmmm!
Coffee was really quite decent and they were always topping it up for us. Will definitely be back!

A family owned diner, with a unique atmosphere (a mom and pop kind of place).
My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich and French toast, I ordered sausage gravy over biscuits, hash browns and French toast. Everything was excellent, their sausage gravy is extremely good.
I took the pictures after I was half way done. I highly recommend if you want something that’s not a chain restaurant.

Live in Knoxville, heard good things about this place and decided to go there this morning. Fun atmosphere especially if you like cars! Mary, our waitress, was great, great service and a sense of humor. I had the pancakes and there were tasty, not hard like some restaurants. Got to meet Dinny too. Will go again!

Highly recommend! The food was excellent every time we went and the menu has something for everyone. My husband‘s favorite was the country fried steak! He said that was the best he has ever had. They offer coffee options as well as pastries for grab and go. The service was great and everyone was friendly and kind. The restaurant itself is both comfortable and inviting with a throwback vibe. There’s ample parking and it is handicap accessible. It’s a must stop!

I wish I would have read the bad review before ordering a patty melt.
The place is cute, different. The service was friendly and attentive. Its a real mom & pop place and I know they were doing their best. My husband got a breakfast plate and it was on par with Waffle House, so not bad. He said his coffee was really good! I thought it was weird that they advertise as a coffee shop but they dont have drip decaf so I just ordered water. I dont know what kind of water they serve but it had a really weird taste to it and I’m a person that thinks all water tastes the same. Haha. I ordered a patty melt and heard the microwave go off twice while he was cooking our food. Im assuming it was to cook my patty and melt the cheese on top. It was a frozen patty with a weird seasoning on it. Had I known it was frozen I would have just stuck with breakfast foods that are hard to mess up.
I understand not having the means to keep everything fresh, but I would just take the frozen patties off the menu.
TLDR; Super lovely people. Stick to ordering coffee and breakfast stuff.

I highly recommend The Fillin Station to eat breakfast or lunch. Its a quaint cafe with antiques everywhere and cute as a button. The food is delicious and enticing. The staff are warm and charming and made every effort to make us comfortable. Met the owner Dinny and Sue, very down to earth people. Definitely a five star ⭐️
Thank you for serving us!
