This is the best Thai within 20+ miles, but it’s helpful to be calibrated on expectations before arriving. This spot is Authentic, very authentic. It is so Authentic that’s it’s just a two person family operation working front and back of house at the same time. Basically mom and dad making food like they did back home. On some days it’s just dad doing everything so service can and will be a bit on the slower side. However, our patience has always been rewarded with fresh made noodles, order cut veggies. Sauced and spices that are true to Thailand and take you on a culinary adventure without having to take a flight. The interior is standard fare for a hidden mom and pop spot. If u find time for this spot, you will be rewarded with true authentic Thai that is like sitting in a riverside spot in Chaing Mai.

I have eaten at many Thai restaurants over the years but this experience was one I will never forget. The service was perfect the table setting, romantic and soothing to the soul.
Along with my water I started with crispy vegetable rolls. They were excellent!
I then chose TomYum soup with tofu. Are you kidding me?! It was perfect!
With that I had the chicken larb. It was all so good! The flavors of Thailand really spring forth and make this an amazing dining experience.

Lime, camphor, mint, chili’s, basil, perfectly cooked tofu in the TomYum, the tomatoes, firm and toothsome, Mushrooms abound.

The larb… again the flavor popped with mint, cilantro, chili’s and lime.

I will definitely be back to try other dishes I could not try then because I was solo.

We have tried every thai restaurant in the area and Thai Rice is our hands down favorite. All of their dishes are outstanding and the service is great. The place is quiet and calm and often empty. Don’t let that intimidate you– the food is truly amazing. The basil eggplant is out of this world, the Pra Ram with fried tofu is to die for, and the curries are amazing.

This Thai food was so good. We had planned to eat somewhere else but decided to eat here. So glad to we did. I had the Pineapple Curry with sticky rice and a Thai Tea. The waitress was super nice and very attentive. Would definitely go back if I’m ever in this area again.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant, but lately their hours keep changing. The last 3 times that I have tried to order here, they have been closed. This week, they’re closed on Tuesday, next week, who knows? What’s going on guys?! Anyways, check online before you go, lol. If you can get them when they’re open, the food is wonderful!! We love their Crab Rangoon, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pra Ram, Mixed Veggie with Tofu and Yellow Curry. The veggies have a perfect balance between soft, but slightly crunchy. I have never dined in before, I always order take out, but I have gone inside to pickup the order and the atmosphere looks and feels amazing! The staff is always so nice and the order is always ready for pickup in 20-25 minutes – perfect!

I’ve been to countless Thai restaurants and this one has the distinct privilege of being the worst.

Check out the runny Pad Thai in the picture. The flavor was sub-par as well. A Thai restaurant should be able to knock Pad Thai out of the park. The pineapple fried rice was bland. The pineapples had no flavor whatsoever. Even salt couldn’t help it and I sent it back. What kind of a-hole would serve something like this? Chef Ramsey would cuss these people up une six and down the other.

Even though the place was almost empty, the service was quite slow.

Overall a miserable experience. I question the taste and intelligence of anyone giving this place four or five stars.

We came in for dinner and we were seated immediately, the place was empty. The host/waiter was koo, we ordered several dishes, our food came out one at a time, but that wasn’t the bad part, everything that came was disgustingly sweet. My wife and I tried a lot of Thai restaurants, from the Bay Area to Sacramento and even Reno, but the food here is a no no for us. Will not be back here

This was the first time I’ve been “back” since years ago when I recall that this location was shut down. First I ordered using a food delivery gift card and it was really good yellow curry and chicken pad thai. When we went in in-person, their sign says there are only 2 of them – and for only 2 handling in-person customers AND things like Uber Eats I can cut them some slack! I ordered the ginger dish with chicken gluten free and my partner had pad see ew and enjoyed it. My portion felt small for the price but appropriate for lunch (and inflation). While I think I still prefer AT Thai or Folsom Thai or the Thai place by the airport, I would eat here again. I was surprised by the other poor reviews of the food since we have had a couple of solid experiences.
