Wife and I’s first visit here today, but it won’t be our last!! Fabulous food!! We chose the pork tenderloin sandwich and a hamburger with egg and pepper jack cheese. Both with fries. Piping hot the way it ought to be! We split each so we could both try each order. While dining, we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, who also asked our opinions of the fare. That’s something you don’t find anymore: a proprietor that CARES about not only their customers, but about their business. That speaks volumes. Also got to chat with attentive and friendly wait staff. We drove nearly an hour 1 way and it’s well worth the drive! Can’t wait for our next visit!!

My husband and I love Grumpy’s. The food is delicious and the service is great. We love going to visit Kirsten. My husband loves telling her “surprise me” when he orders. We come in often. Breakfast food is good any time of the day! Only suggestion, have fried bologna sandwiches!!!

Sunday auction time and I ran a bit early so decided to grab a small bite,
Half biscuits and gravy .
Aside from not being very hot (they had just opened so I can kinda understand) the food was decent. Good gravy. I like the sausage broken up on top.
Service = friendly and quick waitress. I asked for my check with my food since I was eating and running and she followed through a requested. (NOTE: Tip your servers!!!).
Overall good place and I’ll check it out again when I have more time.

Well usually little diners are good with friendly staff & good food. NOT THIS PLACE TODAY! waitress only checked on us 1 time after we got our food. Found out it was because she was on the other side of the place talking to a coworker out of our site the entire time. They were out of ice & lettuce. We were supposed to have no mayo, we had mayo on sandwich. Told the lady at the counter & she’s just pretty much like well thats the kitchen staff & usually they get it right….
Happy 1 year to the place, but I doubt it makes it another 1 unless today was just an off day.

First time coming here will not be returning. Ordered chicken with Swiss and mushrooms. Chicken was dry with no flavor and mushrooms was burnt. Fries tasted like they been sitting for hours. Salad left allot to be desired. Husband’s smothered steak had so much batter that you could barely find the meat and the meat tasted like jerky. Heard other customers complaining as well.

I had the ham and cheese panini which was great and the onion rings were delicious! The salads were crisp and my wife had chicken tenders that were hand cut and hand breaded. It was so good I almost ate my napkin. Scott and the rest of the staff were friendly and attentive! We will be back!

Turkey Manhattan was scrap meat and green beans tasted like dish soap. First time eating there it was decent. This time awful nothing was edible and we didn’t eat hardly anything. It’s not as great as they act like and the service is poor as well.
