If you want very tasty,perfect,delicious and fresh bakery treats,shop here. bumpie cake,and cheesecake was my first from here.10 out of 10.im in my 50s,grew up in hamtramck,land of bakerys,now that there all gone, this place exceeds way past the quality and flavors I had as a child,I live about 10 miles away,will travel for these ungodly delicious treats. Our daughter‘s wedding cake from La Petite fell very short of our expectations. They spent $300 for a two tiered cake that was so basic and plain (all white with a few frosting flowers on it, and a fondant bow on the top), and this business would not deliver it because it was “not expensive enough for them to do so”! Would NOT recommend using this business for a wedding. The cake even looked tilted. I was honestly a bit embarrassed about this cake.

They have the BEST desserts. They are so accommodating as well. They helped my Grandma with a New Orleans King Cake which is really hard to find around here! It was very yummy 🙂 The cannolis are good too!

I want to start off by saying the staff here is amazing. They immediately made me feel welcome and worked so hard to turn my vision into a reality. I came into La Petite Pastry about 1 week before my wedding and in need of a wedding cake. I was blown away at how amazing my cake turned out with such little time. We decided on chocolate with raspberry filling, but they had so many tasty combinations to choose from. They truly took the time and payed such close attention to detail. Not to mention they have other delicious pastries. Thank you so much to the staff at La Petite, you have a new customer for life!

I was very impressed with this family owned bakery. I stopped in for a last minute birthday cake as the bakery I had in mind is closed on Mondays. I picked up a small yellow cake and had them write Happy Birthday and my daughter’s name. I was extremely impressed how they fit it all on there and perfectly neat. Let me tell you that cake was delicious, it’s very moist and light in texture and the butter cream frosting is super light as well and not all sugary tasting. I was so happy I randomly came across this great bakery and the young girl who helped me was very nice.

10/10!!! Sanders has NOTHING on this bumpy cake! The cream layer is butter soft creamy- melt In your mouth!!! RUN for your next event…I will forever return. I am mad I just discovered this place! We started using La Petite for our wedding events (including the big day!) and now we cannot go to any other bakery for family events! You can’t beat the cake/cupcakes there. Our birthday party guests always comment on how tasty they are! We usually pick up a couple treats while we are in too— cinnamon rolls, cannolis and Christmas cookies are some of our favorites. So glad we can count on La Petite for all of our special occasions!
