I celebrated my birthday at Sushiman Restaurant, and it was such a wonderful experience!
The place is spacious — perfect for a celebration dinner with family or friends. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.
The food was fresh and delicious — especially the sushi rolls and bento boxes! Everything looked beautiful and tasted amazing.
If you’re looking for a nice spot in Whitehorse to enjoy great Japanese food and celebrate a special occasion, I definitely recommend Sushiman!

“Really disappointed.”
I was excited to try this place, but the sushi tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. The rice was dry, and the salmon had a strange smell. Definitely not worth the price.

This store I visited during a road trip. I ordered two dishes, which looked good but didn’t taste particularly impressive. If you’re looking for a filling meal, it’s worth a try!

We ordered takeout so we can’t speak to the service.

The food was not pleasant for us. My shrimp and yam tempura smelled fishy and like it had passed its point of optimal freshness. It was more soggy than crisp as tempura should be. The beef bento box was just beef in rolls and then a pile of that same beef. It lacked flavour, colour, and “oompf.”

The miso and side salad were the most enjoyable parts of the meal for me.

The price was very high, higher than most places we’ve dined at in the Yukon, so that contributed to the rating.

The place is very nice and staff is friendly!
The sashimi plate was good, but we did not like much the Soba noodles. A little bit pricey actually but I guess that is the normal price around Whitehorse!

1st time here, and we had amazing foods. The price is average, compared to others. Their yakisoba is not that sweet . the miso is tasty, the dressing on salad, not too garlicky but more ginger, the sushi wonderfull. I just wondering about aburi nigiri, they charge more, and i wish they gave more “flame” to it. The service is not fast because it’s quite busy that moment. I like friendly and family ambiance. I will come again for sure.

The food was okay, but the service ruined the experience. We waited almost 40 minutes before anyone took our order, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Staff seemed uninterested.

ordered oyakodon and beef ramen for lunch. very large serving for just one person, probably could feed 2-3 people. staff were polite and quick to take my ordee, and i only waited for less than 10 minutes. Taste-wise, it was just average but could really fill up your staomach. Not the typical taste you would get evern from cheaper mom-pop shops back in asia. A lot of meat was included in the oyakodon but the pieces were kinda tough already. seasoning and broth was bland for me.
