Ordered a pizza with extra red sauce, and got one with almost no sauce. They normally put very little sauce on their pizzas anyway, but today it was like they decided I shouldn’t have any.
9/19/25: Had to write another review. Went back again and ordered a meatball sub. Got home and found something totally different….looks like maybe some type of Italian sub. Anyway, not sure if it was purposefully because of prior review, but either way I wouldn’t recommend this place. They seem to avoid paying attention to what a customer orders. I did go back, but closed unfortunately.
On a side note….I like to support local family owned businesses, but when it’s bad you look elsewhere. The local Town Pump will take orders for hot pizzas and they are awesome. I have ordered there twice since the first debacle and have gotten a beautiful pie each time. I don’t know if Boulder residents know about this so just wanted to promote them as they seem to take their customers seriously and wonderfully.

Had the meat lovers pizza and the vegetarian deluxe pizza, both were delicious, the vegetarian deluxe was extremely delicious, one of the best pizzas I’ve had in quite a while.
They made an honest mistake and gave us the vegetarian instead of the vegetarian deluxe, but they were really good about that and dropped the right one in the oven immediately and even insisted that we keep the other… we aren’t big fans of pineapple, but we’ve got family that don’t mind it, so it won’t go to waste. We all make a mistake once in a while, but how you handle it is what matters… they handled it extremely well and were super kind and respectful about it.
Staff were friendly, fast, efficient and kind. I’d highly recommend Maddog Pizza and will definitely be back!

Worst pizza I’ve ever had like somehow stale already it was awful. Frozen pizza from the dollar store is better. Very nice people and maybe I had a one off experience I know others who have enjoyed it but me personally it was not great.

We were just driving through the country on our trip from northeast Indiana to Seattle.
We stumbled upon Maddog Pizza by chance.
We decided to stop in for a bite. VERY glad we did!
They were the nicest people you ever wanted to meet.
They all went out of their way to make us feel like part of the family.
The food was great, the conversation was very nice.
They did everything possible to make our meal enjoyable.
We appreciate the kindness shown to two old farts from out of state that they will probably never see again.

Pizza was ok. Hard to find until we asked a local and they let us know it’s inside the bowling alley.
Pizza crust was soggy, meat isn’t that high of quality and the whole thing was kind of flavourless.

No…just no! I’ve been here a few times and it gets worse. I want to like it and support my local business owners but the pizza is pure grease with no flavor and the kid working the counter is rude every time

Just had a salad at Mad Dog. Was amazing! Every topping was cut the same EXACT size. Flavor was extremely balanced. WOW!
