9/2/25 6:13:35 PM. I was excited to see something different in a truck stop but I was very disappointed with the quality of this so called pit bbq. The brisket was tough and chewy which leads me to believe that it was more like a chuck roast than a brisket. I know a little bit about meat since I was a butcher for many years. The grain was all wrong and the consistency was wrong. If I pay for brisket, I want brisket not some second hand cut of meat. The pork wasn’t much better it was under cooked for “pit” bbq and chewy too. I may try another Dickey’s in the future but not this location. In their defense there was a huge order that they were putting together but if you can’t serve the folks that are in your store and do a big order maybe you should find another line of work.

I was excited to see a Dickeys on my route since the one back home closed. In a two week span I tried to get brisket 5 times and every time they were out. Finally they had some and I’m thinking it’s going to be so good since it’s always out. I think it’s always out because they burn it. That was the toughest driest brisket I’ve ever had. I don’t even believe it’s brisket I think it’s a roast. I don’t know what was tougher the brisket or the “Fresh Baked Cookies” on the gas station side. Do yourselves a favor and go down the road to Jimmy Jo’s BBQ.

We had it delivered so I can’t honestly order about review the service or atmosphere. We’ve ordered 4-5 times previously with minimal problems but this time was very different. We ordered the 3 meat combo. All 3 were very dry!! We tried washing them down with root beer, but it tasted nothing like root beer!! It wasn’t a good experience at all!!

I’ve ordered from here before and it was good what ever or who ever they got working there now just need to get fired I ordered the 3 meat plate and the brisket was dry the chicken was dry and the sausage taste undercooked never got my big yellow that I paid 4 dollars for and to top it all of it was mold on my rolls like what even is this place anymore someone needs to call an inspector!!

I placed an order through the app. My husband went to pick it up. They didn’t even realize there was an order. Then they threw some meat and sides into containers. The brisket was inedible. Cold, very tough, fatty, and absolutely no seasoning on the few bites I was able to eat. I grew with Dickeys down in Texas. This does the company shame. We didn’t get the corn muffins I ordered or the pickles or the original sauce, not that I would’ve been able to eat any of it as the brisket again was completely inedible. I will not be going back.

Didn’t even cut the ribs just in two slabs 6 individual pieces is half a slab 12 bones is a full rack. I can’t continue to eat like this besides this behavior piss off my haters. What we doing here, even if we can afford this, we’re not supposed to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Just be thankful, grateful and settle for less meanwhile taking care of the less fortunate.

The worst barbeque experience EVER! I wouldn’t even go as far as to claim the food was barbeque. Just big chunks of tough, fatty and poorly seasoned meat. They forgot the sauce, got the sides wrong and the Texas toast was slabs of warm bread with zero seasoning. We spent $44 for this, no drinks. Zero stars of that was an option.

Brisket was dry .. very dry and unseasoned. Was it even smoked ? Also they forgot my sauce .. would not come back nor would I recommend. Honestly it was disgusting. Wish I had something better to say cause I’ve actually worked for a different location and I use to love this place. Haven’t had it in forever and was really looking forward to smoked brisket. It was disappointing to say the least.

The staff was amazing! Friendly, prompt service! Very helpful!! The food was AWFUL! Dry, flavorless, almost tasted like fake meat. Very disappointed & won’t be back. Really is too bad!
