super quaint and sweet place, drove 30 minutes because I really wanted a loaf of sourdough (not a huge fan of bread with preservatives and such) and it was really worth the drive. I walked in and both the women working were welcoming and helpful, and the woman checking me out gave me an extra bag and let me know the bread goes bad in 3 days so to put the rest in the freezer that I don’t plan on eating right away. I also got a chocolate croissant and I would drive 30 min again just for that. and for $5 it was pretty big. 10/10

In town for a wedding and stopped here for a breakfast treat on the day the brewers faced the cubs while wearing my Brewers polo.
The “misguided” cubs staff fearlessly went into roast mode in the most lighthearted way possible!. Such a wonderful staff! Delicious treats and a Great selection of gluten-free treats too!. Will definitely stop here the next time we’re in Lake Geneva.

Not bad, prices are the normal 3x of normal prices as it is Lake Geneva. Selection was good, food was pretty decent with nice size portions. Asked for c coffee creamer that never came. Maple Syrup options were limited to cheap/high fructose corn Syrup. Coffee was tasty (collectivo). All in all, a decent breakfast spot.

Highly recommend the Simple Bakery! The heart-shaped chocolate bread was nicely done – perfect texture, nice chocolate touch but not too sweet. The almond croissant was very delicious. The savory scone was a bit less impressive – it’s a bit plain with light cheese flavor, and maybe some scallion or other ingredients can elevate the flavor profile. Queen-amahn was an interesting items that taste like a mixture of croissant and bread – would recommend if you never try it before.

Super nice service and very interesting choices on the bakery items. Delicious and nutritious looking whole breads and also little sweet items. We tried the little cheese cake and no flour brownie and both were very rich and sweet and perfect to refuel on sugar during our long bike ride. The prices are bold but ok for the quality. The place was tidy and well presented, well worked with the small space. The bathroom was clean. I recommend.

Don’t let the fact that this little gem is off the beaten path fool your desire for yummy bakery items. The staff is as sweet and helpful as their chocolate monkey bread and jams. Want something different on top of just bakery? Check out next door and have a full breakfast!

This place is incredible. We tried the mini flourless chocolate cake, mini cheesecake, carrot cake cupcake, jalapeño bacon breakfast focaccia, kouign amann, and danish and all were 10/10.
