Recently had a disappointing experience at the Ziggi’s on Highway 52 west of I-25. On Wednesday I ordered a 20oz original Chai hot as I frequently do. I don’t usually say latte and honestly I’ve never had an issue however this day I was given one without any milk in it. It was just the chai concentrate, no milk and there was no tea bag in like they made a chai tea. On the first sip I honestly wondered if I had been given something that had gone bad. I had to wait until I was done driving to look in the cup and that’s when I realized why it tasted wrong. There was no ziggi’s on the rest of my drive so I was just very unhappy with a drink. I wish I had thought to take a picture of it.
On Friday I went to the same location and simply mentioned I would appreciate it if they just made sure it had the milk this time. The gal at the registered honestly tried to tell me that my drink had not been made wrong. She tried to tell me that a chai latte has no milk. I have worked as a barista and I know how to make drinks and I know why they are called lattes, just saying. She conferred with the others finally and it was made clear to her and this time there was nothing wrong with my drink thank goodness.
I was very disappointed that I let this location know very politely that I didn’t receive the proper drink previously, wasn’t asking for anything other than what I had always received, and simply didn’t want to be disappointed again, but was treated that way. I was surprised to be told I was basically wrong and wasn’t even offered some compensation. It’s not common there are issues but I think this one could have been handled better. I see the same people almost every time I go there and often I’m there twice a week. It’s a lot of money to have the situation treated that way.

My experience at Ziggi’s Coffee has been excellent every time. The coffee is always fresh, smooth, and full of flavor you can really tell they care about quality. They have a great variety of drinks, from classic coffee to specialty and iced options, and everything I’ve tried has been consistently delicious.

This Ziggy’s is my favorite location! Sarah and her crew are top notch! They always are so fast and friendly. I love that my rewards add up so quickly and I get $$$ off my orders, too! Plus, their gluten free breakfast sandwich is soooooo tasty! It’s nice that they have delicious gluten free options! I also highly recommend their Fireside Latte. It is a delicious flavor I cannot find anywhere else. ❤️

What can I get started for you today?” they said—except it wasn’t just a greeting. No. It was a verbal hug, a gentle whisper telling me that everything was going to be okay. My order? Perfectly understood. No confusion. No judgment. No rushed tone. Just pure professional hospitality delivered with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for puppy adoptions and surprise birthday parties. When I pulled forward to the window, THAT’S when the magic truly hit. The barista greeted me with a smile so genuine I’m convinced it could solve global conflict. Their vibe was immaculate. I stop here quite often on Sundays with my son. The staff remember us, ask how our week was and where we’re headed, and provide us with delicious coffee and pastries. Im not sure why starbucks even gets business with these guys around. NOTHING AND NO ONE TOPS their white mocha, hot, reg milk and whip cream! Nobody!! Plus these guys have a way of making you feel welcome, that you actually count, that even though im just a customer , they make me feel important. Feels like they are actually happy to see you. Thank you for not only the coffee but the respect.

Ziggi’s in Frederick West is one of my favorite stops! Their dirty sodas are absolutely amazing — so many fun flavor combinations and always super refreshing. Great service, coffee, Red Bull infusion, and other specialty drinks. However the food is hit or miss. I ordered a cinnamon roll and it was very cold, I could only eat one bite. However, other times I will get the breakfast burritos with salsa and it’s great. Don’t have high hopes for the food but everything else is great, and I visit multiple times a week.
