We visited this quiet little restaurant in the middle of small town USA and had and amazing time. Lori was an excellent waitress, very inviting. She made great breakfast recommendations as well. The food was great, we had the chicken fried steak and eggs as well as the country benedict. Their biscuits are huge and delicious. Homemade gravy and diced potatoes. To top everything off they threw in these absolutely amazing maple bars, melt in your mouth yum.

5/2025 I had an excellent mushroom Swiss “Hendrix” burger which was delectable and yummy hand cut fries. Still the best!!!
11.17.23 Maui chickhas become a favorite and the smothered hamburger steak as well!
2022: The menu was far more limited than I expected, and a bit spendy, but it was excellent, the service was friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere was a vast improvement with the remodel! Putting the door on the other side of the building and opening up the back really made a huge difference! My friend had the chicken fried steak and was blown away at how good it was! My burger was excellent as well. The onion petals and belly fries were unique and fun. Good job, Corner Table! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Best damn burger in two counties atleast can’t find a better burger anywhere here ieven in Spokane. Fresh hand patty. Cooked just right. Homemade sauces. I was in heaven. Gastro pub meets rustic dinner. Great flow. I’d drive for days for this food can’t wait to try other options!!

Chicken Fried Steak was the best I have had since moving to Washington a little over a year ago. Service was a little slow so don’t go there if you are in a hurry, but the waitress was very friendly.
It is worth the wait though, this is a fresh steak patty dipped in a very fluffy light batter at the restaurant, not one of those frozen patties I see half the diners in Spokane use. The gravy is homemade as well and is not overly salty, very smooth with just enough spice.
I drove an hour to try this place out, well worth the drive!!!

The Corner Table has been open about 16 months now and only gets better and better. Let’s get the basics out of the way…service and price. Service is top notch. The servers truly care about your experience and will bend over backwards to make sure you are satisfied. Price is extraordinary reasonable considering that you’re getting true home cooking. So let’s talk about why you go out to eat…the food. Its fabulous! From their Vintage burger (a classic, hand pressed, half pound burger on a brioche bun) to their sirloin steak (cut in house and cooked to your liking) their food is done right. The menu is large but not overwhelming and features appetizers such their beloved onion petals (like a blooming onion with less mess) and spinach artichoke dip as well as favorite sandwiches like the Texas Jax burger, patty melt, BLT and the Klucker (a citrus brined grilled or fried chicken sandwich) and more. If you’re really hungry go for their chicken fried steak, made from a New York Strip and cut in house! They offer soup, salad and weekend specials! Hungry for breakfast? Then you’re in luck. The Corner Table offers breakfast whenever they are open. Grab up a Country Benedict (eggs your way on top of sausage on top of a soft, fluffy biscuit all smothered in thick sausage gravy! Or try their delicious maple squares or cinnamon rolls! Get an endless cup of Thomas Hammer coffee or a pot of Revival Tea to go with and there is no better way to start your day! Trust me when I say that the Corner Table is the best restaurant around for 50 miles and well worth the drive from anywhere!

I have been hunting and visiting this area and the surrounding 100 miles in all directions since early 90s. I love this place enough that I ended buying a property and moved away from the West (left) side the state.
One issue I always had here, after a full day hunting, was to find a good joint that serves good food in a large amount to feed a big guy like me. There are a lot of places that are either out of the way or just don’t give you your money’s worth when it comes to food.
Either the portions are too small or the food ain’t worth a lick, or the service is too slow and bland, or it is closed when you are starving the most.
Then I found this place!
First thing I noticed was the food. Really good and plenty. Then there was the service. They are so kind. The closest place to here, only 6 miles away from 395, is Loon Lake. A place for fishing, lake fun, hunting, camping and other activities and couple of restaurants that serve a little for a lot.
Trust me I know! The last time I ate by the Lake, me and only 4 other people at the restaurant, it took them 50 minutes to serve me my food. That does not include the 20 min I spent waiting to be noticed, my table being by the check-out register.
Then when my food finally got there, I got a 3″ diameter burger with about 12 to 15 fries.
I was sure I am going to get a toy with that kid’s meal, but I did not.
So, here it is: if you are willing to drive 5 more minutes west of Loon Lake to the T-off in Springdale, you will get more for the same or less.
I personally like to get my money’s worth on my plate and walk out with a full belly, not having to go another 16 miles to finish eating at McDonald’s, like I did that day.
Happy Eating people!

I walked in and was sneered at by some heavy set women one of which I said good morning to. She sneered at me again and stomped off to the kitchen. I have never met them so I wondered what I did to illicit behavior like that. I sat there for an hour waiting for to go food. It wasn’t bad but 1/2 Cup of potatoes, tiny cheap eggs just enough food for a 10 year old. So don’t expect to get a big hearty breakfast cooked in a reasonable amount of time by friendly owners here. Several people have shared similar experiences with me. A Jimmy Dean frozen breakfast at the dollar store is a much better choice. I won’t be back. I doubt this place will survive .

OMG the food, I had chicken fried steak, so tender a knife is not needed. My son had French toast and he was just as impressed. This place is fabulous, staff are the best. Will return to try more. ❤️
