We ordered chow mein
The menu says stir fried noodles chow mein
He gave us a bowl of vegetables
I called and kindly inquired about it
The woman said it’s only vegetables
And the gentleman who took our order told us Its only vegetables
We understand his English was a bit difficult to understand
But we were just trying to follow the menu
There were no noodles
Just straight no vegetables
But it’s okay we’ll just go else where next time

If there was less than 1 star, this would get it. I could have had a better meal, quality and size for the price in the hood of the Bronx NY. I ordered vegetable lo mein, mixed vegetables in garlic sauce. It was like the boiled the vegetables in oil then scooped it in a ridiculously small placed container for the price of $8-9. There was no flavor whatsoever, either the mixed vegetables or the lo mein. I paid $20, plus a $5 tip. For garbage. And …. my stomach hurts.

This restaurant is next to a busy city street, parking sucks. You’ll have to pay meter to park: 25 cents for 30 mins. I asked the Chinese lady for restrooms and she looked at me as if I had uttered the most ridiculous thing ever! “NO!”she said. Waiting was not long, and the food was tasteless. I was disappointed when I asked for salt. She came back with salt in a spoon. Ridiculous!! If you plan on getting Chinese food here, take away is perhaps the best option.

My customers wanted this place for lunch so that’s what we ordered. They ordered and I called in to add on my order no issues. I went to pick up the food and it was closed off from the counter to where customers stood. The food was ready and I paid $55 plus a $2 service charge for using credit card. The restaurant got everything right and the office was delighted with their meals. I ordered mixed vegetables and brown rice. It was just ok, wasn’t the best tasting.

The Fried Dumplings and sauce were amazing. Also the Singapore Chow Mei Fun noodles was the best I ever tasted. This is now my go to Chinese food restaurant when I’m in Jersey City.

The food here is simple. It’s not bad but not great. The reason for the 2 stars is their work ethics. I realize times are tough for all of us but I would’ve appreciated the transparency. After I received my food and reviewed the bill, I saw a $2.00 delivery charge. When I had asked for a little extra soy sauce and they never mentioned it would be a $1.00 extra and lastly I saw a “service fee” of $1.77 (not to be confused with the sales tax of $2.79) which I’m assuming is the a charge for paying by credit card. This will be the last time I’ll order from there as they are not the only Chinese food restaurant around and like I said, the food isn’t THAT great.

Not worth the stress and aggravation… Really enjoyed the food here, but this last time we ordered was a really bad experience. The delivery guy was awful and lied about having delivered the food when he hadn’t. Not only that, when he did show up an hour later than the time the restaurant said he was outside, he didn’t apologize and the food was cold as ice. Won’t be ordering again.
