Went through the drive through because lobby was locked … According to the lady on the intercom all the had was 10 pieces of chicken and a large mashed potatoes and gravy … We said that’s fine … As we finally got to the window she had the food bagged and informed us that all they had were legs and thighs .. I said also that would be fine .. she collected payment for the 10 piece dark and a large mash and we pulled away .. ( I did not think I needed to inspect my purchase before pulling away) but when we got home and started serving we found that we only had 6 pieces of chicken 3 legs 3 thighs ..(my husband was like how do you mis count a 10 piece by 4?) . We called the store but I seems at this time the store was closed … So my husband and I fed the children and had PBJ&j sandwiches ourselves (which sucks because that chicken smelled good).. We called again in the morning got the run around… The refused to address and fix the situation and we Got accused of lying …. Not good customer service. However, they did a real bang up job gaslighting and making us feel as though we were doing something wrong by trying to pursue resolution for a dishonest exchange.. …

First I want to say is that I am love Church’s Chicken. But but when you order the original golden Church’s Chicken and it comes out looking like the chicken was cooked in burn or would allow this type of color of the chicken to be serve to customers.

The place smells horrible so if you’re planning on eating there, I’m sorry. But if you’re taking out, that would be best if you want to enjoy the food. You’ll never get an awesome meal twice in a row, it’s iffy, depending on the time of day, the day of the week, and if they are following the throw away time management which is required by the FDA but they make so much to keep on hand, I’m sure they are not following protocols. They’d go out of business if they did. Service is iffy, some of the workers are a real piece of work and probably shouldn’t be in any type of customer service, but again, this depends on the day, the time, and other reasons…
The food is crispy, like it should be most of the time, if it’s old, you’ll know instantly.

Idk what yall talking about, in Topeka I will take churches of popeyes any day cus I never have any issues with churches and my food be actually hot and fresh. No complaints and kitchen looked real clean when they opened the back door.

If this was a chicken jerky restaurant I’d love this place. They sucked all the moisture out of the chicken. The fries were disrespectfully cold. But the drinks were perfect. If you do eat here make sure to get something to get the nasty taste out of your mouth.
