The view is to die for as are the Lobster Rolls. Visiting 38° is worth the effort. More on that below. But let’s talk lobster. This was one of the BEST lobster rolls we’ve had and the view is spectacular.
See the pictures! It had to be a half pound of claw and tail, just enough mayo to hold it together and seasoned perfectly all served on a toasted brioche style split roll. Superb! Could not finish it all – had to take half home. DELISH.

Now….here’s why I took off a STAR ….they do NOT serve Pinot Grigio. Wait, what? How? Why? It’s a summer place! My Mom was almost walked out! LOL Dad was also kinda bummed they didn’t serve San Pellegrino water or Perrier — but he settled for club soda.
My Orange Crush was awesome. Service was great! Don’t take the bad service reviews to heart, sometimes servers are over worked and it’s a hard job. Tip well for good karma!

How to find this elusive but worth the drive waterside spot. Go into the Bayside complex off of 54 past Harris Teeter and start following the white directional signs to 38°. It’s gonna be a lot of twists and turns but totally worth it.

Awesome waterfront bar! Views are incredible…can see half of the Ocean City strip. Clean yacht club bar aesthetics with an immersion in nature. They made a punchy Orange creamsicle. The point brings a pleasant breeze and there’s a nice walk out to the dock off the point. Sunny spots and shady spots to suit your needs. I hated having to leave!

This is true casual outdoor dining, not fancy but fun and delicious with a great view. My husband and I took our boat over as you can use one of their 4 slips after 3:00PM. We had a 5-10 minute wait for a table but enjoyed a cocktail while enjoying the view. My husband had the Cajun wings (dry rub) which he loved, and I had the blackened rockfish tacos, also delicious. After dinner a stroll to the point made for a great evening. We’ll be back!

Kids salmon was maybe four bites so small! “Jumbo lump crab cake” was mostly all filler with very small pieces of crab therefore was very spicy! Hamburger was really good and chicken fingers for kids were good also. Guacamole very small amount too. Barely enough for an appetizer for one person.

So if I’m sitting at the bar like right now and the bartender doesn’t engage or take my order until I tell yo
Yeah it’s probably not for me
Be engaging be consistent in helping the patrons because that’s unacceptable to do

Incredible view of the OC skyline and Assawoman Bay. Hidden gem inside the Bayside Community. Big old Point Burger was insane! Live Music daily. Definitely coming back.

Beautiful place. Great drinks. However if you are gluten free or a vegetarian they do not really cater to that beside a salad. I loved the tacos when they had GF. I hope they bring them back

Not a martini bar- that’s what the bar tender said when my daughter asked for extra dirty w/an olive. But the bartender pulled it off and it is at the waters edge . So views make up the reason why you spend time there.

Did not get food however, so no comment there.

Two of us went there for the afternoon break on a Sunday warm spring day to relax. The menu has your typical pub grub and I’m told it’s good bar food. It is a tropical style Cabana type bar. I have a variety of beers, they make a variety of cocktails but with disappointed me was a writing a liquor was very limited. If you’re looking for a top shelf scotch this place doesn’t have it. Expected a power like this to have at least the Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve. They didn’t have even anything close to that. This place is specialties are there fancy cocktails with umbrellas in them. It is a fun place to sit, relax, by yourself or with a group of friends. I’ve been told you cuz I spoke cigars and the outer perimeter away from the bar, whether our tables spread apart out on the sand. They frequently have free live entertainment . I would go back to enjoy the atmosphere and socialize.
