I never leave Google reviews but I had to for how good my lunch, dinner and even came back for breakfast! The chef makes everything fresh, puts a little spin on it and seriously amazing. Best meatloaf & mash I’ve ever had! Will gladly be back again 🙂

I just had the greatest time! First the tritip and vegetables were perfectly cooked. I was nervous about the mashed potatoes as I’m not a sweet potato fan. However the Yukon Gold-sweet potato blend was magnificent!
Then the fact you’re sitting in a building built around 1860 – it’s just a magical experience

Good service, reasonably robust selection of menu items. The signature Crown Point Chicken seems a slightly undercooked chicken breast with a light coating and melted cheese. It could use a boost.

The bar area is quaint, has a nice fireplace, and the bartender was excellent.

I’ll return to try some of their other tempting offerings.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this establishment was so problematic that I feel compelled to share.

Over the summer, I attended a rehearsal dinner for some of my best friends. From the moment we arrived, the owner’s attitude was off-putting. Rather than making us feel welcome, they were rude and disrespectful throughout our visit. This set an uncomfortable tone for the entire evening.

Things went from bad to worse when the chef, who appeared to be intoxicated, repeatedly interrupted speeches during our event. This was not only unprofessional but deeply embarrassing for everyone involved.

As for the food, it was equally disappointing. The BBQ chicken tasted like it had been boiled and then drowsily slathered with cheap bottled BBQ sauce—there was no hint of proper grilling or smoking. The flank steak was so tough and rubbery, making it nearly impossible to chew.

Between the hostile service, unprofessional behavior, and subpar food quality, I cannot recommend this place (even though it was super cute).

We went here for our anniversary dinner and it was so disappointing. My meatloaf was so dry and burnt unfortunately. I only had two bites and put it to the side. The bruschetta was burnt on the bottom and all we could taste. We left and went somewhere else and I got burger. Hopefully they were just having a bad day and it gets better.

I attended an event here as a guest, and I was genuinely shocked by the complete lack of professionalism and quality.

I feel absolutely terrible for the couple who paid a significant amount of money

The issues began with the food, which was virtually inedible. The main courses were grossly misrepresented and poorly executed. The BBQ chicken was cold, flabby, and tasted like boiled meat topped with cheap sauce. The steak was overcooked, tough as rubber. For the price paid, the food was a complete failure.

What made the situation truly alarming, however, the head chef visibly intoxicated and acting disruptively during service. It was shocking to see the person responsible for the meal in such a condition at a professional event.

Great food, great people, and wonderful atmosphere in Virginia City. The deep fried ice cream dessert is the bomb! Order it with their homemade peanut buddies ice cream – yum!

Happened to be here on Easter Sunday, while passing through town, and thet had an amazing Easter Brunch Buffet. The food was outstanding, the service was great, and the staff was very accommodating, even though they were swamped due to the holiday rush. Hats off to chef Orsen and bartender TJ for making our visit so memorable.
