The short younger girl that works there is rude and has a horrible attitude She seems to have a different hair color, wig or dreads each week. If she does not like her job working with customers then she should find another job or Subway needs to have her do work in the back. She huffs and puffs, rolls her eyes or makes rude comments if you ask for more than two slices of green pepper or onion or cucumber on the $16 footlong sandwich your buying. I cannot wait for Jersey Mikes to open, one particular day I witnessed how friggin rude and hateful she was to a customer that we walked out and went to Jimmy John’s. There is an older lady there with glasses that is amazing, always smiling and friendly. I honestly feel sorry for her for having to work around such a negative person. if we walk in and Ms. ATTITUDE is working the we trun around and walk out and take our builsinesa to one of Subway’s competitors. Seems like the Subway owners should review these posts and remedy the attitude and rudeness issue or they might end up like several others businesses in Decatur that went out of business.

The food is always good and made exactly how I ordered it but from time to time one of the employees got a bad attitude but as long as the service stays consistent and my food continues to be made quickly I have no issues continuing to spend my money here.

She is always mad and very rude. And she is putting vegetables by one or two slices and it’s freaking veggies sandwich it’s cost $11 and you can get two slices of onion, cucumber tomato. It’s ridiculous when someone order a meat sandwich they fill full and veggie sandwich just a couple slices. It doesn’t make sense to me. How come meat is cheaper than a veggie?

The food was amazing but service was absolutely horrible. The lady that took my order and rang me up (Lisa) was incredibly rude to me and my mother. She was constantly huffing and puffing as if her doing her JOB was such an inconvenience. She kept getting snarky with me whenever I asked her to repeat herself because they were busy and I couldn’t hear her that well. Her attitude came from a dumpster fire and it was very uncalled for.

This was once our preferred of all Decatur locations. One employee, in particular, an older female named Lisa, always made us feel so welcome. Very precise & neat in her sandwich making, & such a sweet lady. After tonight, however, I can guarantee we will never return. Lisa wasn’t on duty at that location, & we were ‘greeted’ by a woman with the foulest, most obnoxious, hateful demeanor. Her name, I discovered, is Samantha. I walked in full of good cheer & friendliness, which is standard of me. I treat people how I expect to be treated. But I soon walked out without placing an order after watching her roll her eyes in disgust at the man in front of me, placing an order, & listening to her huff, & snarkily bark that they don’t like when people request too many toppings on their sandwiches, because they ‘fall apart’. Considering this is how my hb likes his sandwich, & considering the customers are PAYING for what THEY prefer, I found it incredibly audacious how she treats her customers. I could literally feel the attitude & negativity rolling off of this person. I once worked for Subway, & I know how NOT to treat customers. I also know if you don’t like your job, you find a better one. We left & went to the location inside DMH. We weren’t able to catch Lisa on shift, but we were waited on by a lovely lady named Vanessa. Funny enough, as I recounted the horror of our visit to Pershing, we were overheard by a DMH employee who said that she’d had her own run in with Snarly Samantha. Color me STUNNED. (sarcasm)

Store wasn’t dirty but I didn’t look too closely. Sandwich artist could’ve at least pretended to be glad she had a job to do. My daughter warned me about the rudeness the employees show in this store but went anyway. As for the food, it was Subway, so, not so great and overly priced. Only went there because my mom asked for it and she’s old and don’t know better.

I had such a great experience at this subway the sandwich artist name is Lisa! Although she was working by herself at a busy moment she went above and beyond for me! She was so friendly and kind and our sandwiches were amazing!! Thank you Lisa and she definitely deserves a raise!

The grandma’s behind the counter was yelling at the customers when we walked in over a coupon. All 3 subs wasn’t toasted and made wrong. FYI if you get irritated with customers over coupons don’t accept them! Ordered online still had issues!

My husband went this morning for carry out. His English is not perfect and the woman attending him told him she wouldn’t help him because she couldn’t understand him. She said” If you don’t speak English I can’t help you so leave”. She left him and another woman working there came out and finished helping him. He was about to call the police. Needless to say we won’t be going back

The employees that work at night are so polite & can make bacon as crispy as you like. They’re never sour even tho I come in 15 minutes before closing. In my opinion the best subway, and it stays open later than all the others.
