Food was ok, I had grilled squid, then tiramusu for dessert. Service was however pretty bad as nobody seemed to check the floor, and I had to call attention at every step, even to get the menu 10 minutes after arrival. When the waiters did come, it was cold and business like. My card was charged 2 euros more because it wasn’t in Euros, which no restaurant in Lubeck seemed to have problem with, until this one. Athmosphere suffered from obvious lack of care from the staff.

We visited this place in the early afternoon for a cup of hot chocolate to warm up.
We were met by staff with a poor attitude. The hot chocolate was 100% hot milk with just a tiny sprinkle of cocoa on top. We pointed out that it was essentially just milk, thinking it must have been a mistake, but we were simply dismissed with more bad vibes.
There was only one other group besides us, so it’s unlikely to be due to them being busy or annoyed about giving up a table just for hot chocolate.
It goes without saying that we had no desire to return for dinner. Instead, we found another Italian restaurant in town that delivered sublime service and food

The restaurant does not have an English Menu, however the staff more or less spoke English if you had any questions. The staff was nice, during our lunch they asked if everything was okay.
The food was very tasty, I had no problem with the pizza. Pizza was great.
The tortellini were also very tasty. However, the sauce was very salty.
The restaurant did not seem cozy to me, rather elegant, but it was not my style. I don’t mean to say that it was bad, the restaurant was nice.

Lunch here was part of an MSC cruise excursion. The food and service was excellent. Lovely restaurant. We had Wiener Snitzel, and roasted vegetables. Great draft beer and wine.

We had a very nice dinner on the terrace. I had a Pizza Caprese, which was very tasty. Also the scallops as a starter were delicious. The restaurant was quite busy and so was the staff, so the service was a tad slow. But with such a nice atmosphere and our drinks arriving quickly, we didn’t mind the wait.
