We were told to make sure we stopped at Mama Goldberg‘s when we were in Auburn and so we did. We ordered a Reuben sandwich, a salad, the Mama nachos, and a Pastrama Mama. Unfortunately, the Reuben was soggy, and the bread was not very toasted. The nachos were cold by time we receive them and just seem like they threw a slap of cheese on top of them which came up in a big ole clump. We were pretty disappointed as we had heard such good things. Maybe they were having a bad day, but it definitely was not great.

We visit Auburn frequently and love to grab a sandwich from Mama Goldberg’s! I ordered from this particular restaurant yesterday in a hurry vs the other location we typically use. NEVER EVER again!! This place is gross and the employees were EXTREMELY rude over simply asking for sauce lol. It’s connected to a gas station. One of the employees didn’t even wash their hands in the restroom after smoking a cigarette and then proceeded to make food for others. They were not busy at all and it took them 45 min extra to make our food (I even ordered online). They made us seem like an inconvenience. Super odd employees and vibe. This location definitely gives them a bad name. Definitely watch where you order from and use the other locations. We learned our lesson the hard way $60 later. I think next time we will definitely try other cleaner and better sandwich restaurants after talking to locals.

They say they’re serving breakfast (6am – 10:30 am… it’s almost 7 a.m., and the door is still locked. I went next door and bought breakfast from Circle K.

Unfortunately, not a fan of this location. We love Momma G’s, but this location is not very clean, the drive-thru employees are not friendly and their scanner for rewards never works. The sandwiches I’ve had made here are awful when comparing to the sandwiches from the other locations in town.
