Our Food Cart is located at the corner of NW 2nd & Elm St. , Canby OR – 175 N. Elm St. to be exact. We have outdoor seating, Cornhole and plenty of fun stuff to do and see. Plus we have dry, warm and covered seating for when it’s necessary We are proud to share recipes that have been in our family for over 7 generations! That’s right! My grandmas, grandmas, great grandparents’ recipes that originated in Calabria Italy about 300 years ago. Then, in the early 1900’s, our family made the journey to the United States and the recipes came with them. Thankfully 🙂 We want those traditions to live on… Scratch-Made Real Deal Italian! And why Cosa Bella? Cosa Bella in Italian means beautiful thing. Once you taste our food, you’ll totally understand.

So… we love this place. We don’t get it super often as I’m in my late 40’s now and I gotta watch my carb intake, but good gravy… if you are craving some delicious Italian food with rich slow cooked textured tomato sauce mixed with crispy baked cheese like you might remember your Nana making when you were still in grade school, this place always delivers. I love the lasagna. We also love the meatballs! My wife craves them from time to time which is usually what prompts us to order, and she is 90% of the time vegetarian. Just delicious!

Have been having a hankering for some good Italian food for awhile now and just didn’t see the freezer section or the Pizza restaurants as my viable options !!! This is the only game in town and has quite a following on Facebook and by word of mouth in town so I said to myself “why not” they operate out of a food truck I believe attached to their home and there is a small dining area if you choose to eat there. It is advertised as heated if there is inclement weather conditions. They have a basic menu of pastas and sauces along with meats and hand rolled meat balls. They also have these combinations in the forms of sandwiches. And they serve giant family sized trays to take home to serve your family. But the item most recommended is an old fashioned family recipe of Lasagna. So I bit and ordered it. The staff and owner were both very friendly and helpful. We talked about a recent problem that the restaurant had experienced with some vandalism in which he had been able to locate the individual and resolve the situation. They brought the food to my car and I took it home. It was properly packaged and held up well during transport. Bottom line is it was very, very good. The sauce had a bit of a tomato twang to it and not a lot of sugar like the processed stuff. Nice amount of cheese and meat. Flavor was very good. My personal preference would have been to have cheese dripping off my chin but this was a hardier Lasagna which is great. The garlic bread was good and a flavorful side. They were multi national and even threw in a Chinese fortune cookie . The serving size was huge and I have enough for likely 3 small meals ( I’m older and don’t eat as much as I did when I was Younger). My total cost was $16.00. There is a tip jar at the window and a variety of drinks. I will definitely be back to force myself to try the rest of the menu. WARNING: The owner stated that it is the norm for him to sell out of the lasagna. Phone orders are always available.

My wife and I came here last Friday. I can say with confidence this was the best Italian food we ever had. We have tried a lot of different places. This is a gem. Everything was amazing and you can tell it’s made with love.
I don’t think anyone could make a better lasagna. The portions were also nice. If you have not tried this place yet you really need to!

I wish I could relive the experience of trying this place for the first time. This felt like when you know you just experienced something you won’t forget. It is without exaggeration, absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to send all my loved ones your way so that they can also experience what I just did. Wow. Wow. Wow. You deserve all stars and more. Loved it – surprised I didn’t rate this from when they were at the furniture store. I’ve had them since they moved downtown and they were just as good.

We went for lunch and I can’t express just how amazing it was! When my boyfriend told me we were going, I asked if there was canolis and I literally squealed in excitement when I saw the “holy canoli” sign. We’re still talking about how good this place was. Everything was so fresh and made with love and care. We will definitely be back!
