I’ve been a long time Las Palmas customer. Loyal not just to the restaurant but this location specifically, for over 2 decades. But this is truly the FIRST TIME that they have fallen below a 5 Star. I ordered my favs as ive been doing for decades, only to find out that my “To Go” order had an addtl $2 surcharge for using a DEBIT CARD. That in addt to all the “normal” changes that occur that i might not love. im disappointed n shocked that not only does my loyalty count for nothing but that I only found out cuz I checked to bag n my receipt had 2 different TOTALS. Thats when i was informed of the “new policy”, which was laughably blamed on the new computer system. Idk how long this has been going on but it shook my faith n my belief in the company n restaurant as a whole. So I had to inform others. N for all those who doubt my claim, see attached pics of my receipt…

My fiancé and I ordered the Loco Rice and the Combo #18. Extremely fast service, we only waited 4 minutes for our orders to come out. Taste was exemplary. Classic, authentic Mexican food here. Will be coming back, and you all should too!

My granddaughter and I came on 12/16/2025 to this restaurant. We have been many times before today, and always had good food at appropriate temperature and good service. NOT SO today. We waited 15-20 minutes after being seated to get our order taken. Our drinks went dry during that time. When our food was delivered to our table, it was lukewarm at best. And our food was brought out AFTER another customer’s food was brought out, who was seated after we were. I don’t know what’s happened to this restaurant, but they need to work on getting their act back to what it used to be.

It was my first time ordering here and I am very disappointed. I ordered delivery through Uber Eats. The portion of their Papqa Locas is extremely small for the price you pay. If I put all the fries together it won’t even fill a small size McDonald’s fry bag. The meat is also super white, not fully cooked. Just awful! . My notes were completely ignored. I requested for my ceviche to be the least spicy possible yet it’s flaming hot! I requested no jalapeños in my fries. They have jalapeños. I’m allergic to them!!! My note also clearly stated 2 sets of utensils. I received none.
The ceviche tastes very good but I can’t even finish it because of how spicy it is and how I’m getting allergic reactions to it. I really want my money back!

Update: My husband enjoyed the chipotle steak taco leftovers so much that we had to go back. I had the nachos with steak, chicken and shrimp with a Bahama Mama to drink. This was on a Friday night and the place was pretty busy, but our food came out quickly.
Our first time eating here. It definitely has an old Mexican feel (kinda dim). I had the Loco rice, and my daughter had the steak tacos. The food was pretty good, but everything seemed slightly salty to me, even the salsa. Anyway, the service was just okay. By the time he came back to check on us, we were finished eating and ready to leave.

My husband and I ordered food to go this evening and it didn’t disappoint. It had been a couple of years since we last ate here. We will be back soon.
