I would really like to take the time to compliment the staff on a job well done, The food was super fresh, and a Sizable value for the money, As an Executive chef, I Looked around the room and There really wasn’t an Ounce of vacant space on Plates coming fresh and full out of the kitchen, The Harvest Wrap with chicken, Feta, and Strawberries was something I could eat every single day!, the soup came out hot (Luke warm, tepid soup is a huge pet peeve of mine) and delicious, the manager T.J. Made his rounds of the room to check on every table and treated each guest with Superb courtesy, making sure everything didn’t only meet, but exceeded expectations, He Was spectacular, Really someone Kitchen Kettle Should Be very proud to have, and want to promote within their ranks every opportunity they have or can give him!, The Staff was super friendly and kept tables pre-bussed (industry term for Cleanliness and removing Empty plates of dead food),
The Restaurant Was full of customers with a line out the door wanting more, I can see why, I personally Will not Open another restaurant In this supremely difficult environment so you’ve got to give a lot of credit to anyone Willing to keep the doors open for their public, It’s hard enough to hire anyone, Much less to suffer the raising food costs on the business with shrinking profit margins, This cafe doesn’t just do the job, they do it in a truly above and beyond manner, The price is fair, The quality is Exceptional, Pulling from the local producers such As an Award-Winning chef I’ve found there to be none better than That Produce found in Lancaster County, it’s why people visit, and Live Here, So, Hats off to the Cafe Staff, And to Anyone out there reading reviews like I sat in the car doing trying to figure out where to go before deciding on this place, I’m so glad I did and I can’t wait to come back, I know You’ll Feel the same way too, I only saw happy faces around the room and Heard only compliments on the size, value, and Deliciousness of their offerings, so, Stop reading and go! Get in line, and Grab one of their incredible offerings!

Clean well kept and well lighted area. Both of us ordered the turkey sandwiches. Numbers were given and we took our seats. Food was brought to our table.
Fresh carved turkey, lettuce, cheddar cheese and tomato with a cranberry mayo. Served with chips and a drink.
Great price and great food. Staff very friendly . Will definitely go again.

I stopped in on a very hot day I had a really thick chocolate shake. While I was there keeping cool I so many people ordering sandwiches and salads that looked very tasty. It was a comfortable place and a little bit of peace and quiet away from the hustle bustle that was going on outside with all of the Taurus doing their shopping. Nice place to stop in.

Been there many times before one of my reviews was not the greatest and they wrote me back the owner that was nice of her I thank her for that things look better this time I must agree so as always will always be going back it’s the kitchen kettle you got to stop there when you’re in Lancaster so to the owner who reads these good job.

Over priced menu! Lodge uses free breakfast hook than you order off of low priced limited menu. Food quality was fine.
