I wanted to give this place a fair chance since I don’t really like getting certain foods for take out because they don’t travel well.
Since I live only 6 minutes away I planned to be there before the food was ready and get it home asap.

Ordered 2 # of wings, wing dust, and sweet chili. And 1 order of french fries. Wings were hot and crispy just like they should be. They are also larger wings with a good amount of meat on them. Fries were a seasoned fry that was good. Will definitely order again.

The reason for the lower star on atmosphere was due to PA weather of rain and cold winds. Beyond their control.

I was checking to see if this place was open yet, since last time I went it was closed even though it said open online and there was no posted signage anywhere on the truck. Then instead of someone mentioning the new place (I was told you are moving into the building next to the truck, if thats wrong I apologize) I see someone talking about a similar experience and they were told, “We have very clearly posted signs stating that we are closed to finish construction. Any person can understand that finishing construction implys reopening that time.” No you did not have clearly posted signs, if you did they were on the building, and most people don’t know you’re moving. Theres no postage on the truck, yes any person can understand that finishing construction implies reopening at that time, but no one who thinks its just a food truck is going to check for postage on the nearby building. Most people just think, “Hey maybe the dude who does it is sick or something, Ill check back later.” At the time I couldn’t find anything online either. Honestly very disappointed in the way this was handled. Definitely not coming back.

Edit: I’ll help you out because none of your reply was correct.

First, at no point did I say, or try to make it sound, like I was there recently. In fact I said that I was checking to see if anyone said anything about it on the reviews yet, and mentioned that it was closed the last time I was there. So all that stuff about paint and the generator is irrelevant.

Second, I gathered they were on the building from the other review where you also responded rudely and said that there was posted signage. If it wasn’t on the truck it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the only other place would be the building, especially after other people have mentioned that you are moving to the building.

Third, it might state that now, but back then the hours stated you were open, any average person would figure they should change their hours to “temporarily closed” like everyone else does.

Fourth, not a fake review at all, I selected that the stars were for customer service and atmosphere, not food. So the review is accurate, because most places would have just done a generic apology about there not being posted signage on the truck, instead of passive aggressively blaming a customer and making it out to seem they are in the wrong.

Fifth, the 1 star review was not about “not being open when you feel that we should have been”, It was about the way you handled the situation on the other review and this one and the horrible customer service demonstrated in both.

Had them scheduled for 2 events and they never showed for either one! The first event, they had the audacity to have some other food truck fill in for them without even notifying me! Poor business!!!!

Ok. You want honesty. I emailed you a schedule along with the other guy. It’s easy to read and somehow you guys mixed it up. It was you that decided that you would step aside and let him take the spot. I NEVER scheduled both of you at once! It’s not up to you to fill your spot with someone else. You cant just not show up and send a FILL IN! You also knew that the owner has other obligations. I notified you a week in advance that he would not be there for the next week. You learn to be honest here!

I first went there and got a grilled Chicken sandwich and fries and it was so good that I told everyone that I knew about it and was excited to do so.

The second time I ordered it, it wasn’t as good but couldn’t put my finger the reason, but the sandwich seemed smaller.

n the third try I asked for Grilled chicken breast sandwich and i was very specific about it and when I received the sandwich for finally figured it out – the breast was now a thigh. I asked about it and the gentleman was terrible about it. Once I got home, I called and wanted to speak to the kind manager who showed me around and made a great Chicken sandwich. But the other guy said that he wasn’t around and told me to me back that he’d make me the breast. So I went and then he tried charging me again for it. I was so bummed because it was sincerely excellent the first time.

My thought was, what’s a Chicken place without a chicken breast sandwich?

I noticed they’ve not been lately and I’m wondering what happened. Truly I hate to give them a bad mark but a breast is a breast and a thy is a thy and when I pay $18 for that sandwich, I want what I requested.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place on a whim and we’re so happy we did! The food was so good we had to go back and personally tell them how amazing it was. The smash burgers are phenomenal and the French fries are cooked to perfection and have a great seasoning blend on them! We both keep recommending The Happy Clucker to everyone! Also the staff is very friendly!! 100/10

They have been closed down for days and there is nothing saying if they will be back or not… kinda sucky
1. Because I did not see anything stating that 2. Why would I give a 5 star review when I can’t rate 1/2 of the things? 3. I did not have any attitude, I simply was saying I haven’t seen anything about why you guys were closed and that it was sucky that you were closed. I also did rate the food a 5/5 and gave a full review of 2/5 until I can give a full review on everything.
