Really delicious authentic Israeli food! The shakshuka is spicy and really awesome with the Israeli salad. I’ll have to try the paninis next time!

Always a lovely dining experience. The portions are very generous, the food is delish, fresh, healthy and plated in a very homey, grounding and pleasing way. Clearly every detail was thought about. Staff was professional, accommodating, attentive, welcoming and quite pleasant. I’m not a regular but clearly there are many regulars who were greeted by name with smiles – but I felt just as welcome. Everything was delicious. I wish that the restaurant had a policy that if someone is going to put an iPhone in front of their toddler for the entire meal – that the device could not be on speaker phone – but instead – the child had to use headphones. If an adult was watching videos with the phone on speaker – even low (but audible) I would politely ask them to mute it or wear headphones – so they I didn’t have to hear the sound – but it doesn’t feel ok to ask a parent to mute it for their child – as they want their child to focus on the device. But that’s more of a social – societal issue – and not isolated to this establishment per se. I am easily auditorially distracted – probably most people can tune that out. There were more seats further back – but I also enjoy being near the window in the front- so it was my choice to sit near the child watching videos with the speaker phone.

I saw another customer take a phone call outside – which was very considerate so I’m sure this varies … the vibe is very lively and friendly and likely- the owner allows the children to play their videos on speaker – in a “live and let live” way !

I would be a regular here if I lived closer – it’s healthy – homey- healthy- the decor is lovely – and we have a great experience each time.

It seems they can accommodate all sizes of Parties – moving tables around easily. Plenty of Gf and vegetarian options.

The Dairy Café is a hidden gem! From their rich, delicious, colorful salad to the best grilled salmon with lemon and olive oil, I’ve ever had, everything was delicious. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. Don’t miss their cheesecake – it’s heavenly! Highly recommend for all dairy lovers.

Drinks were delicious, we had a milkshake and Israeli coffee. I also ordered a coke that came in a tiny bottle, kind of a joke. For food, we ordered a panini which was nice. And the margarita pizza that had a very thin crust but the cheese was rough, had a rubbery texture. Service could also be improved. After telling the server we were ready to order, we watched him clean and prep the tables around us for 15 minutes in an empty place. Not what I expected for the prices.

Always happy when we come here,
Very authentic Israel style cafe, the food took a little bit of time to get ready however the service was excellent the food always makes you feel like you are back in Isreal

We also got a mushroom chummus plate but we finished it before I got to take a pic 🙂

I will definitely be coming back when I am in the area

Randomly stopped by here and was very pleasantly surprised. Very high quality food, and perfectly proportioned paninis. The Shaksuka was very spicy, which I loved. This café went quickly from a one time hunger stop to a place we wish to revisit.

Best israeli restaurant in NYC, this place is a hidden gem.
My wife and I love hummus, and it was as good as the one we had in Israel.
Also, the owners are very kind, they actually watched over my kid while I took the other one the bathroom
