First time here. The guy taking orders could have been a bit nicer, but it really appeared as though he just didn’t want to be at work today. The food was delicious, though! Our group tried the Rainbow Soup Dumplings, Chicken Bao, Pork Potstickers, Scallion Pancakes and the Pork with rice bowl. We have zero complaints about the food. Despite the mediocre service, we would definitely come back here.

Great made-to-order soup dumplings and shui mai. Each were made to order (see photo) so be prepared to wait a few minutes (well worth it) for your order. I didn’t like the scallion pancakes were deep fried instead of pan fried. Very greasy. The stand is located in a small ‘food court’ area in Chinatown full of other Asian food stands.

We stopped at the Dumpling District located in Chinatown inside Luna Hall late at night for a snack.
The security guard for Luna Hall warmly greeted us and explained to us the setup of Luna Hall and what was available to us. The front area of Luna Hall was a bar/club and the second half was a food court with a few places to select from. Dumpling District was located at the very end and was one of the few places there that still offered food an hour before Luna Hall was closing.
We ordered the Rainbow Soup Dumplings which was their soup dumpling sampler that consisted of one of each flavor that they serve. The six dumpling flavors were pork, chicken, mala, crab meat and pork, shrimp and zucchini, and black truffle. The order took a little of time to receive but they seemed to be steamed to order as they came out very hot. Everything was pretty good. The dumplings were flavorful and pretty tasty. The crab meat and pork was my favorite. I want to mention that the Mala was a little spicy which was not indicated on the menu for those of you that are not a fan of spicy foods.
Overall, the dumplings were pretty good for a late night quick stop eatery.

Paid $16.45 for crispy chicken over rice not burnt or over cook chicken. Rice was soggy.

I was so disappointed. The dumplings smelled like they were rotten. The smell was strong. I ate the pork bun and it was ok. The only reason I stayed there was because the security guard was so inviting. My husband spoke to him and he seems like a genuinely nice guy.

While the food is good, it’s located in a dining hall that is unwelcoming to people with service dogs. The security guard will be abrasive and belligerent. Reren Lamen & Bar has great dumplings and is more welcoming to everyone. Based on my experience, you might want to go elsewhere.

I love the rainbow dumplings. I tried the shrimp pork and vegetable wontons in peanut butter spicy sauce bc they were free w the dumplings on Uber Eats… I seriously think it’s the BEST THING I EVER ATE. this is a big compliment coming from a foodie such as my self. Perfectly spicy, salty, and savory. They put a lot of meat in their dumplings and they are very filling. PLEASE NEVER CHANGE UR DUMPLINGS ESPECIALLY THE PB WONTONS. I was moaning the whole time I ate the meal lol

Food court atmosphere. Ordering was easy. There was a bit of a wait for the food. While not the best I’ve ever had, their xiaolongbao were still good and filling. I was full after the first five. Kind of expensive.

We ordered Shrimp Pork dumpling, and Pepper Beef Noodles Soup. The flavour is good for both of them. The soup comes with the noodles is my favourite.
Can be improved: the dumplings can be cooked longer, cuz I taste some powders. And the noodles are a little bit like instant noodles.
