The complimentary beans were deliciously ONLY the beginning of more flavorful things to come. We ordered their Mexican burgers filled with home style juicy patties and the ever classic french fries. You can’t go wrong. I am a foodie. I also ordered their Pirata taco with tripa cooked to my specific requests. No disappointment, only recommendations to give this taqueria a try. They do their due diligence to stand out in an area so heavily populated by taquerias.

Taqueria Jalisco is a good location for lunch located in San Juan, TX. Their service is prompt, friendly, and courtesy. Wait time from when you order to when your food arrives is minimal. Food quality is good with your order being made to order so you get it nice and hot. There are a variety of typical taqueria options on the menu to choose from. I had a bistek torta combo that came with fries and a drink. The torta was the perfect size for the price and very filling. Overall, this place is solid.

This used to be my family’s favorite place to eat tacos . Very bad service , the waitress didn’t like it that we returned all the baked potatoes , they were very hard from the edges they just put more cheese and brought them back.. they just keep staring at us in till we all left . Girl at the counter was on her ear piece murmuring and getting my pickup order. Kinda rude. Got home and the tacos had no cilantro or onions on them, called to complain and they said that’s how they serve them. This isn’t a little kids or a California taqueria they need to have serve them with onions and cilantro. Basic tacos, save your self the money and go to la curva next door.

Ordered fajita espadas to go and to my disappointment they had no flavor and very little meat. The tostada’s are fried instead of toasted I could also taste the oil from the fryer. I will never go back there again. Food is bland. Go next door to La Curva..now that is real flavor.

The food was good, but not great. The service was also good. The reason I am leaving a 3 star is because of the price. We felt like we were overcharged for a dinner for 2 that was supposed to come out to $30-35. We ended up paying $47 for 2 combos. Will we go to this place again? more than likely not.
