Oh my GOODNESS!!! So delicious and authentic. We had a couple different dishes to share. Both were fantastic. The service was incredible. You could tell that she loves the food. We will try the ox tails next time. I couldn’t even wait to take a picture. Lol Thank you

I’ve have been passing this place every time I drive down Bayshore and I always say I have to stop in. Will today was the day and I’m so glad I did!! We ordered a small brown stew chicken and a medium escovitch fish. The portions were generous. As the picture shows I couldn’t wait to dig into mine I had to stop myself from finishing but once I did I realized I was full. So I’m glad I have the other half to enjoy later. The flavors definitely gave what I hoped they’d give. You can taste the love that went into cooking it!❤️ We also got a Ting and their made in house fruit punch (AMAZING!!) For the time of day that we visited they still had a good selection to choose from. I only wished they had some plantain to add to my meal so if have that sweet element but it was all still delicious nonetheless. I’m so happy that this gem is so close to my house. I’ll absolutely be back to try their cornmeal porridge on Mondays. The establishment is cozy, so much so that I ate my portion in store as they have tables and chairs inside as well as outside. Good tunes playing on the mounted television and the young lady at the counter that served us, Akilah, was incredibly sweet. Very happy to have authentic Jamaican representation so close to home

I can’t tell you how my food taste because the Uber driver delivered it to the wrong address even though he was informed it was wrong. The restaurant said there was nothing they can do. Iam from Jamaica just relocated here and I intend to tell everyone about my experience. Thanks for nothing

I ordered rice peas, oxtail, and jerk chicken Rice was bland, I asked for rice and peas but got white rice and peas instead. Rice was dry not much gravy was given, so it was hard to finish the rice. They didn’t give much oxtail either. First and last time eating there. I would not recommend eating at that place.

I always like to support small local businesses. But I have to be completely honest with the review. The oxtail tasted different and sweet (almost like a subtle barbecue taste) It just was not authentic at all. The cabbage was bland and the rice and peas where the best thing but not great. To pay over $20 for some oxtail that did not taste. Not good at all. When there’s other places in the area that has great tasting oxtail, this is definitely not worth it.
Unfortunately I will not be going back.

The jerk chicken was good. There portion size is smaller than most Jamaican restaurants for lunch special. The girl chopped a 1/4 chicken and gave me 1/8, that was disappointing. Not use to that. Beef patty is delicious.
