Excellent steakhouse. Perfectly cooked
The meat had a great seared flavor. The coaslaw was the best I’ve ever had. Service was excellent also. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they charge you 3 percent to pay with credit card. I was so upset about this because I wasn’t told until after I paid. Of course it’s on the receipt in tiny print but who reads the receipt like that. No one’s does that.

Wonderful experience while dining at the Great American location on Sunland Park. Not only was the food was delicious, but the service was top notch! The server named Anne eas attentive, welcoming abd helpful, plus she created the best latte – a beverage I had no idea was available at Great American. Thanks for the stupendous service!

It’s disappointing to say that this was a very underwhelming experience. We visited on a Tuesday when the restaurant was nearly empty, yet the service was surprisingly poor.
We had to repeatedly remind our server about items we ordered, as things were forgotten multiple times. Attentiveness and basic follow-through should not be an issue, especially when the restaurant isn’t busy.
To make matters worse, the air conditioning was turned on very cold toward the end of our visit, which made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming — almost as if we were being encouraged to leave.
Overall, this did not reflect the standard one would expect from a “Great American” establishment. I hope management takes this feedback seriously

My husband and I were in the mood for burgers and decided to try Great American. We started with the queso fundido with chorizo, which was flavorful and satisfying. My husband ordered their new bacon cheddar burger and really enjoyed it. I went with the steak burger, and it was also delicious. The service was friendly and attentive — our server checked on us regularly and made sure our waters were always topped off. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back when we’re craving burgers again.

I went there for lunch for that $9.99 special they have going on. It was delicious. The waiter greeted us right away, served us fresh water and left menus. Within minutes my table’s waiter came in and serviced us. The food was almost cooked how we wanted, but maybe the terms are different in every restaurant. Regardless, it was a great overall experience.

My friends and I had high expectations when we went, and we were not disappointed. Their staff was very friendly, and our waiter, Demetrio, did a wonderful job taking care of us. He gave us excellent service, always being attentive and on top of our orders. I had never been there, and he was so patient with me because I had several questions regarding the menu. Can’t say enough about him. We all loved and enjoyed our food, and the atmosphere was lively and upbeat. I will definitely go back.

The food is always on point. We love the cauliflower appetizer, that’s actually why we crave this place. The tacos are delicious, their hamburgers are always awesome. Anything you order is always good. Regina, our waitress is so kind and friendly! This is the second time she helps us and she just makes the experience even better! We will definitely be coming back!
