I was heading home from visiting family in Holmen and needed some coffee. This place was new (to me) so I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did! The girl who waited on me was very sweet and made a yummy drink for me (s’mores latte). I wish I’d had time to hang out as the cafe is very cute and cozy. They have lots of good looking baked goods too.

Service was extremely friendly. Quiet, clean, cozy coffee shop. Nice outdoor seating area with water fountain and beautiful planters. Definitely get the cake cinnamon roll dessert. Very good. Coffee is flavorful and has a lot of unique flavor combinations. Found this place from the coffee passport and glad we did!

My first time in today. The atmosphere and food/beverage were great but I wanted to write this review especially because of Joey. She was on her own at lunch and was very busy both at the take out counter and inside. She had the best attitude, didn’t rush her customers even though she knew others were waiting. What an amazing employee! She is a blessing to The Grind in Holmen.

Adorable, comfy atmosphere. My iced mocha and my husband’s fall special, salted maple latte were spot on. The Grind would be a definite hangout spot if we lived in the area.

I want to like this place, but I’ve given it three chances, and have only had one positive experience. This last visit has solidified my not giving it a fourth.
I ordered an iced vanilla latte with a sausage breakfast sandwich said to be served on a ciabatta bun per their menu. What did I receive? A quad americano with a sausage patty and egg served on stale, white bread (I’ll attach a photo). It was gross, truly.
Previous visits have resulted in half hour waits and broken lids. Like I said, I want to love it here, but the continued slide in service is really disappointing.

Big fan of The Grind. Great coffee, fair prices, and plenty of variety. I like all the size and flavor options as well as the flavor of the week that they do. They also have great teas and lemonades that you can add purees to. I also love that they support multiple local bakeries with the selections they offer.

Highly recommend this place. I always have a great experience. Their cold brew has the best pick me up when it comes to caffeine and feeling energized. I drink half a cup and that is all I need for the day. Coming from someone who can never get enough caffeine. I Absolutely love the Grind
